Moderately clean eating Monday 4-3

SRP

Cathlete
Good morning, everone.

I actually made it through the weekend without junk food. How unusual.

Today:
B - steel cut oats with walnuts, pineapple, soy milk
S - half of a pumpkin muffin, apple
L - big salad
S - same as above (other half of the muffin)
D - I'm thinking potato soup with tofu, and of course lots of veggies. Also a dark green salad.

Uh oh. It's only 7:21, and breakfast is gone. Is it going to be one of those days... again???? :eek:

Good morning, Shannon, and all to follow. I, alas, can't say the same about the weekend. However, it was only Sat evening that was bad, and I had no trouble getting back on track Sun. I even avoided our weekly Sun evening pizza, making a big salad instead. And I had an orange for dessert, instead of the brownies I made everyone else. Today:

B - fresh fruit salad, 1 slice toasted steel cut oat bread w/ PB&J
L - 2 slices multi grain bread w/roasted red pepper hummus, small salad, orange
D - leftover lasagna, 1 slice whole wheat bread, salad
S - grapes, whole wheat bread w/ suggestion of PB

Have a good day all.

Hi Shannon and Robin...and all who follow. :D :D

B=ww English muffin bread with strawberry jam. I know, not too healthy! Cheddar cheese and tea.
S=yogurt w/Fiber One mixed in
L=Salad with lots of vegetables
D=not sure, going through recipes right now to see if something 'jumps' out at me.

We FINALLY are seeing the sun shine this morning. YEAH! Our weather has been rainy and extremely dreary outside so seeing the sun is an especially nice treat today. Always boosts your mood. :D

Good Monday, everyone:

I was in CA watching my son graduate from the Marine Corp. Training this weekend. eating wasn't horrible, but not clean for sure. Let's just say "what happens in CA, stays in CA".

Today will be:

B - 1 egg 3 whites scrambled, lo carb toast, 1/4 grapefruit
L - Subway turkey sandwich
S - protein bar
D - Slice of pizza and large salad
S - after workout protein shake

I am going to walk about 2 miles at lunch and Pyramid upper body tonight.

have a great day ladies.

Paula

Well I'll tell ya, spring at our house means the beginning of water coming in the basement because once it starts to rain, it doesn't stop until the middle of June.

We remodeled our house, including basement, three years ago and have had water problems ever since. Nice huh? Well, yesterday I told Dh enough was enough and we tore off some sheetrock in the basement in the area where the water always shows up first. I vacuumed all the water up and really dried things out so now...we wait. We have a couple of theories but won't know for sure where the water is coming from until it rains again...Wednesday according to weather report.

We don't have any carpet down there and the water comes in along one wall only so we just have to shove all the kids toys to one side of the room and wait for summer. I do have puzzle mats down there during the 'dry' seasons so they are easy enough to pick up when the water starts coming in. It's so frustrating, especially with a brand new basement floor. x( x( x( x( x( x(
