Yesterday was a nice different day and I liked the plan. I'm going to try to stick with it. The fridge and fruit bowl are stocked and ready.

I have to return the protein powder I bought yesterday. It was whey and I didn't realize it was from cows. I'll have to go to the Vitamin Shoppe and see what they carry.

Good morning Judy. I'm glad your plan is working out. I'm having trouble sticking to my plan, and wish I could figure out how to fix that. Evenings are so hard for me, probably because I am to tired to fight the cravings. Any way, today's plan *sigh*
B - fresh fruit salad, Basic 4 cereal w/soy milk
L - left over spaghetti, carrots and tomatos, orange
D - not sure, probably something breakfasty like waffles (I know, not good, not clean, but fast and easy)
Today is a rest day. Have a wonderful day.
 
Morning ladies:

Well, yesterday wasn't so great. There was some chocolate. And maybe a few Pringles:(

Today:

B - mixed cereal with banana and soy milk
S - apple and 1/2 English muffin with pb
L - leftover sushi
S - cottage cheese and peaches
D - I think I'll make vegetarian chili later:)

Workout will be cardio (not sure what yet), core and either back or biceps
 
Hey Robin and Judy....

Yesterday was okay but I did eat too many hushpuppies at the fish camp last night. I had broiled shrimp and flounder though so that was good.

Today ....

Br - Irish cinnamon roll oatmeal, coffee
Sn - banana and 1 T nat. PB
Ln - not sure .... going to be out
Sn - maybe a protein bar
Dn - meatloaf (which is made with 1/2 turkey and loads of pureed vegies (it is actually called Eat-Your-Vegetables meatloaf, so very healthy), candied sweet potatoes (made with Splenda and Smart Beat light), green beans, and homemade chocolate pudding (low fat) made with Splenda.

YUM!

Hi, ladies -

I had to jump on the computer for something else, so I figured I might as well check out CatheLand.

This weekend hasn't been so great - ate out Friday and wasn't too pleased with the meal. Last night was my brother's b'day, and I had ice cream.

But I just finished reading Eat to Live and am ready to make some dietary changes. I don't think I'll follow the plan exactly, but I definitely want to get some more raw/fresh veggies into my diet. Grocery shopping tomorrow!!

Today:
B - two ww pancakes w apple sauce
S - orange
L - bean soup, apple
D - I don't know exactly, but I have a can of canelli beans I'd like to try. I've never had them before. And some tofu I need to use up.

Enjoy the rest of the day, people. Tomorrow, it's back to work. :eek:
 
Hey gals! Can I join your checkin? My eating has been CRAZY lately, and I could use some help staying on track. Yesterday was me MIL 80th bday and I indulged in too much chocolate cake and banana pudding! I can certainly use some support.

I'll start off today w/ my steel cut oats. If I can just steer clear of the junk, I'll be OK, but DD has made some white macademia nut cookies! Phyllis

Hey Shannon, an idea for your tofu and cannelli beans. I got a great recipe for a chicken chili at www.sunmaid.com. It's called chucky chicken picadillo chili and is under the main dishes. I'm sure you could use tofu instead of chicken and I've used cannelli beans instead of the red or black the recipe calls for. The only "weirdo" ingredient you may not have on hand is golden raisins, but probably regular raisins would work in a pinch. This is one of my family's favorite dishes.

Hey Phyllis!! I miss checking in the on the rotation of the month checkin since I'm not doing that. How's it going? I'm like you, I'd better not start on the cookies or any of the bad stuff, I can't stop at one... I'm one of those all or nothing people, boy do I hate that....

I did well today, all as planned as I posted this morning.... I did have chicken and broccoli with two rangoons at the mall at lunch and I did have a protein bar for a snack. Went over my deficit day amount but didn't get carried away too much. Need to keep it about 1440 to 1500 tomorrow.
