Hey all!

Yesterday was okay for me, until dinner when I had a couple of Sophie's chocolates:(

Today:

B - mixed cereal with banana and soy milk
S - apple and whole grain crackers with pb
L - lentil soup, crispbread, orange and lf yogurt
S - cottage cheese and diced peaches
D - egg whites with veggies, baked sweet potato

Workout today is a 4 mile run, triceps and core.

Hoody do Shelley and all to follow. Yesterday I got mostly back on track too. Today:

B - 2 slices oatmeal bread toast w/PB, fruit salad
L - leftover Pad Thai, carrots and tomatos, apple
D - MIL is having us over to her nursing home for VD dinner - Beef Tenderloin, lobster tail, strawberry cheesecake - Yikes! I'll try to be good. Actually, the portions are usually small.
S - banana w/PB

Yesterday I did manage an easy floor aerobic workout and some chest work. If I can get off work a bit early, I hope to do IMAX3 and some core work. Maybe biceps, too, if time allows. Have a wonderful Postwonderfulday.

Geez Robin, what nursing home is your MIL in? That sounds like quite a feast. How wonderful that they go that extra mile for their residents. :D

I am still nursing sick children and after four nights of sleeping on the sofa in the livingroom, my back is screamin today. I so need to get to the chiro but my H is gone all day today. I think tonight I will just move both of their sickbed cots into our bedroom so I can sleep in a bed with my special ortho pillow. They are up and down all night coughing, dry heaving, needing drinks...they both have bronchitis in the worst way.

I have Musclemax on schedule for today. I'm hoping the motrin kicks in pretty soon so I can do my workout without too much discomfort.

I have not planned any meals today. I have a sweet potatoe roasting in my toaster oven and that will be my breakfast today. I made waffles for my other non-sick kids this morning. The leftover ones went in the freezer. I also need to get to town for groceries. We are about out of everything especially fruit.

40something, I'm sorry your kids are so sick. Hope you don't come down with it too. Actually, my MIL is in an independent living apartment in a very nice home. She complains about the meals (she gets one/day), but the several times we've been her guests, I've been very impressed.

Hi, ladies -
Argh. dear mom made a huge 3-layer chocolate Valentine's Day cake, and then also made each of us an iced sugar cookie with our names on them.... and a bag of chocolate candy.... Okay. I had a small piece of cake last night because I wanted it before it went stale. The cookie is in the freezer and the candy is way up in a top cupboard, where it will stay for a very long time. Keep your fingers crossed that I can resist temptation with all this junk food in my house.

Today:
B - 2 pieces ww toast w/PB and raisins
L - cottage cheese w/ sunflower seeds; apple
S - yogurt
D - beans and cornbread

I did ok yesterday on calories and quantity, but not so good on carbs at night. My hubby cooks during the week and I feel like I shouldn't complain when it is such a help. He made spaghetti (and ate tons of it) and I just had mostly salad, meat and sauce and very little pasta.

Today should be better.
B - mixed cereal (kashi go lean & fiber one) with soy milk
S - Cottage cheese and baby carrots
L - veggie burger with lo carb bun, green beans, apple
S - protein bar
D - BBQ chicken and steamed vegies (probably brussel sprouts)
S (maybe a whey protein shake after MM)

this week is a light week for me. today I will walk 2 miles at lunch and do MM this evening.
I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's day.
Happy eating!

Paula

I actually was sick first, not as sick as my two kids are, but I started with it first and then it went to DH and now the girls. We're wondering if we didn't pick a bug up on the plane when we were on vacation because we've been sick since returning from vacation. Ugh. Both girls are missing their school parties today so they're very disappointed about that. We also have plans to see Clifford Live tonight so I am hoping they are well enough to go or we'll be eating those tickets.

Hi!
40something- you are one busy and loving mama! Hopefully your little angels will feel well enough to go to thier show tonight. And best wishes on your back feeling better. Sleepin' on the couch is the pits!! I can't even tolerate it long enough to get through a TV program!

Yesterday was good except for the leftover donuts I bought for the the floor installers. I had to indulge! i guess i am having a little trouble shaking that vacation sweet tooth.

today-
B- Hot Oat bran cereal and soy milk
S- diced apple with cinnamon cooked in microwave, 1 oz. lf cheese]
L- choices: veg burger light eng. muffin (eml)/raw veggies- or- eml & melted lf cheese- or- eml w/PB and tomato soup
S- cottage cheese and fruit
D- Italian turkey burgers from EFL book on broiled portabella mushroom & lg. salad with few croutons.
S- french vanilla @ hockey game
