Moderate Eating--Check In 2/9

This thread hasn't been started yet so I'll go ahead.

Yesterday I was in town all day as DS got his braces off and that is an all day ordeal, so I never got here to post. I spent most of the day reading in the orthodontists office:

B=Whole wheat toast w/pb, tea.
S=none
L=Applebees WW Beef and Shrimp Kebobs with steamed veg's, tea.
S=none
D=Vegetable soup, tea.

For Today:

B=whole wheat toast w/pb, tea. That seems to be a recurring theme of late.
S+L=Roasted sweet potatoe and brussels sprouts.
D=don't know yet but probably chicken with parsnips as side dish.

I love roasted vegetables of any kind so I often cook them in my toaster oven. So handy!

I also wanted to mention that I enjoy a magazine called 'Eating Well'. If you haven't seen this before it's worth while to browse through a copy next time you're shopping.
 
Morning all!

Yesterday was okay except a small piece of apple pie at dinner. It's gone now, so no more temptation.:)

Today:

B - mixed cereal with banana and soy milk
S - apple and 12 grain crackers with pb
L - *ahem* Quiznos
S - cottage cheese and diced fresh pear
D - large salad with beans and lots of veggies

Workout today is Lowmax.
 
Still sticking to my plan. Today is:

B - Oatmeal with flaxseed and fat free soy milk
S - Whole wheat english muffin with chipotle hummus
L - Turkey sandwhich on whole wheat, apple
S - Protein Bar
D - Turkey burritos
S - Plain low fat yogurt with strawberries

This might change a little bit because I don't know if I have enough calories yet.

Good Morning to all!

Well.....I didn't go according to "plan" yesterday.
Here are my deviations (better than the word "cheat").

After lunch I added a sugar free jello pudding (not too bad)
After dinner I added a half a coconut macaroon (not too good)

Today:
B - 2 kashi go lean waffles and 2 egg whites.
S - apple
L - Lunch with hubby - going to a Vietnamese restaraunt to have "pho" a vietnamese soup. I have no idea how healthy/unhealthy this is.
S - protein bar
D - Salmon and steamed asparagus.

I worked out this morning with Kickmax. Was planning on doing MM tonight but it is getting pushed to tomorrow as hubby and I are taking a promo pack to a blues club he wants to play at. We'll listen to some music, should be fun.

Paula, I was reading in a food magazine yesterday and there happened to be a recipe for Pho (is it pronounced phoy or pho? There is a wavy line over the 'o')

Anyway, for this particular recipe (Fine Cooking-Weekend Cooking) the soup sounds delicious and there isn't anything in it that would be bad for a person. Rice noodles and flank steak, the rest is all vegetables and spices. The photo looks very yummers.

Thanks for the info on "pho" (I believe it is pronounced just like the "fo" in "info").
Good to know it is not a big deviation from clean eating (like my half a macaroon!:eek:
