Morning all!

Well, I fell off the wagon a bit this weekend because someone sent me a CHOCOLATE ROCKY ROAD PIZZA!!!!:eek: Ahem, yes, so I perhaps had a few bites of that;)

Today:

B - steel cut oats, banana, soy milk
S - apple, almonds
L - rice with tomatoes, lentils, mushroms (a concoction my SO made)
S - cottage cheese with diced fresh pear and cinnamon
D - egg whites with veggies, baked sweet potato

Workout will be Kickmax

My weekend eating was actually quite good. Wonder if I can keep that up? I sure need to.

Shelley, a chocolate rocky road pizza? Oh wow. Good thing I didn't visit you. Yowie.

Today -
B - steel cut oats, banana, oj
s - apple
L - barley/veggie soup
S - nut/raisin/cranberry mix (no salt)
D - barley-lentil-mushroom thing & mixed greens salad w red sweet pepper. Most likely a glass of milk.
 
Chocolate rocky road pizza? yes I would have to eat some of it too!!

Do vegans eat chocolate? Or is there some kind of animal product involved? I assume milk chocolate is out. But how about other chocolates?


today-
B- hemp sprouted bread and PB, coffee
S- fruit or V8 juice
L- (leftover) chinese veggies and ginger sauce w/ bean curd
S- Luna bar, tea or coffee
D- baked tilapia, asparagus and salad greens w/ vinagtette
S- 2 dove dark chocolates

OK you ladies are making me very hungry...no fair.

I did pretty good this weekend. Yesterday was my cheat day but I didn't gorge, just ate some things I wouldn't normally like pancakes, and a koser dog, and of course my Sunday Vino.

today is back to the grindstone.
B - ultramet protein shake, rice cake w/almond butter
S - apple
L - either grilled fish and salad OR Pho (vietnamese soup) if coworker wants to go out to eat today.
S - Protein pudding
Dinner - salmon and steamed vegies
S - whey protein shake & small orange

I walked 2 1/2 miles this morning and will do Pyramid upper body or Muscle Max tonight.

We won't talk about the cake and ice cream (and chips) at the birthday party on Saturday...or the pizza...or the chocolate dream bars that had an ENTIRE row missing yesterday (it was goooooood!)

I have been great since December. Weekend was very bad...today is a new day.

L~turkey sandwich in tortilla w/applesauce
S~banana
D~chicken with beans and rice and peas and carrots

I think today is LowMax.

Good Monday Morning Ladies :)

I'm just laying low these days still due to illness. I just can't seem to shake this bronchitis. I have to tell you all a story though. Remember last week when I said I wasn't able to do any cardio (since I can barely breathe as it is) but I was going to do High Step Challenge that day. Well, I thought I would be okay with the short cardio blasts in that workout so I put it in....I was wheezing my way though it when I got to the bicep work and I started feeling nauseous so I put the barbell down...and then apparently fainted dead away on my livingroom floor. I was alone in the house so I came to and realized what must have happened so I get up on the sofa and I can't stop shaking and I'm still feeling like I'm going to be sick so I called my H who was working out in his shop. Needless to say....ended up spending a great deal of the day in the ER. I was dehydrated plus because of my wheezing they wanted to keep track of my oxygen levels. Still tell me it's just bronchitis, not pneumonia or RSV, and go home and rest. I'm tired of resting. I do actually feel a bit better finally today. For the first time in 4 weeks I don't have that constant pressure in my chest and I'm not wheezing this morning. Still coughing though.

We are supposed to get to low 30's today so if it warms up I'm going for a walk.
 
Hey 40 something! someone needs to chain you to the sofa!

I used to get bronchitis quite often (after a bout with Pnuemonia one year) and I know how it feels cause it hangs around so long. But you really have seen by that experience that you need to rest!
Take it easy. If you're still coughing I wouldn't take that walk, but that's just me (sometimes I'm really bad at taking my own advice though).

I know, it was my own stupidity at fault in the first place. When I was working out that morning I got through the first cardio segment and I was huffing and puffing like mad but I kept going through the second cardio and then I was telling myself...this is too much I should stop because I just was fighting for breath. But then the next weight segment starts and I'm telling myself okay, I'll just do the weight work and I'll march during the cardio's...well, never got to the next cardio!

But I've had this crap for so long I'm just sick of sitting around watching FoodTV. I was going to do Musclemax a little while ago but finally decided to wait one more day so I'm cleaning house instead. I really do 'feel' like I'm better today so hopefully I'm turning a corner on this now. Just so sick of coughing and hacking and wheezing and trying to sleep sitting up! Oh, and I didn't mention the amount of drainage yet have I??? :9
 
And people tell me I need to behave with my tendinitis! 40something, you're either the most dedicated fitness person I've ever heard of, or you're completely loony!!:7 My goodness, I hope you feel better soon.
