Moderate Clean Eating - Feb. 18/06

Morning ladies!

Yesterday went okay. Had a couple of treats last night.

Not sure about today. Weekends are always a crap shoot.:p

Here's what I'll try for:

B - mixed cereal with soy milk, 1 piece 12 grain toast with pb
S - lf yogurt, apple
L - wrap with tuna, lf cheese and veggies, baby carrots
S - cottage cheese and pineapple
D - hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... not sure yet
 
Shelly- Weekends are dicey to be sure!
Last night we went to our favorite little italian resaturant with grandparents and kids. I settled for haddock florentine, no bread or pasta. But I did have wine and dessert. Good enough!

today-
B- wheatena/ soy milk
s- apple
L- probably a veggie burger on Light eng. Muf.& carrots
s- a light protein and V8 juice
D- out to dinner w/ DH only. aim: no bread, moderate entree 1-2 glasses wine & no dessert

Tomorrow, we have a family dinner with my extended family and it could be difficult. I'll volunteer to bring a big salad or grilled veggie platter so at least we can have a good veggie choice.

so far I've only bought them (Boca). But I am willing to try a recipe if it looks not too complicated

I'v changed my plan today! No tiome to snack and have lunch. so PB and apple and syo ships for lunch now. Then driving DD around, grocery shopping, and hockey game.

Hi Shelly & Judy. I hope your having a great weekend.
My diet has been a little off today, not really "bad" just not how I would normally eat.
It is really cold by TX standards (lo-mid 30's)!

Here was my day food wise:

B - 2 pieces lo carb french toast with lo carb blueberry jam & a chicken sausage
L - Pho (vietnamese soup, hubby and I stopped after walmart run!)
D - Chicken chili, a corn muffin and salad, 1 glass white wine.

My last couple days have not been good. I had my back adjusted on Thursday and rested for 24 hours to be on the safe side. Friday morning I got up and did my regular sprint run. I didn't feel great afterward, my back was a little sore, but no big deal. Then, after lunch I could hardly stand up. I am so scared that my back problems from last November have returned. Please think positive thoughts with me that it is minor and that I will recover quickly! I just found Cathe, I don't want to have to stop again! I was crying over it and other problems (insomnia) this morning, I am so burned out. Hubby was understanding, luckily.
I feel better tonight and tomorrow is another day.
