Hi all!
I'm back at work after a glorious 4 days off! >sigh< It's so hard to get back into the swing of things....
I was proud that I kept my workout schedule while I was "up north". While my bf was playing Paul Bunyan in the woods, I was sweating it up w/Cathe....and STILL managed to take a nap!
Even though they had tons of snow, the weather was beautiful and I took my dog for long walks. I didn't do so well on the eating front however....fish fry and frozen margaritas does not a slim waist make....but it sure tasted good!
I also bought the "Eat to Live" book and have only read the first chapter and glanced through the rest so far. It seems to be make a lot of sense and I can't wait to get further into it. Has anyone tried the 6-week meal plan yet?
I am also reading "The Ultramarathon Man" about this guy who does 100, 135 and over 200 mile ultra-endurance races....in the desert and even in the South Pole. CRAZY. They did a piece on it on "60 Minutes" the other night. He's very easy on the eyes - and only 4.5% body fat.
My gf and I went bike-riding Monday and roller-blading yesterday. I barely broke a sweat and she was huffing and puffing. We had to stop way before I was ready! Thanks to Cathe, my endurance is through the roof!
OK, that's it, I just wanted to say HI and I loved reading all the topics from the past few days....you guys are not only very knowledgeable, you're hysterically funny as well!!!
Angie
