MIS

Hello, I am hoping for a little advice. I have not done much strength training in the last 2 years, but I am really trying to get back into the swing of things. I purchased MIS, but it really beats me up. I am trying to hang in there. Should I be starting out with something a little easier or will this get easier. I am using light weights. I just need some words of encouragement.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Chrissy

Hi Chrissy!

I'm a Chris, too

. When I started MIS in January, I used NO weights for the leg work an empty barbell (15 lb), and 3 and 5 pound weights. I was pretty wiped out by the time I was done but found that I was able to add weight pretty quickly. This was doing MIS 2 or maybe 3 times a week.

If you want an "easier" weight workout, I enjoy the weight section of Cathe's "Wedding" video. After doing MIS for a while, I previewed this and thought it looked too easy, but it IS NOT!

The reps and pace is different, so even using 3 or 5 lbs is challenging. But overall, it is better for someone just starting out.

So for what it's worth, you could try cutting back on the weight with MIS or try the other tape

Hope that helps!
