Has anyone pre-ordered her latest videos? I pre-ordered back in April(If I remember correctly) 2 of her dvd's, and I had received an email telling me that they were to ship in late MAy....as of today, I have yet to receive them. I hate to email them again, I feel like I'm being a bother....( I emailed twice asking for an ETA)...

ANYONE?

Thanks-

I pre-ordered The MedBall Madness dvd and received it a while ago. I would go ahead and email them. You should have received it by now.

Jane,
Do you like MedBall Madness? I've been looking at Mindy's newest releases but haven't decided yet.

Hi Angela,

To be honest I haven't even reviewed it yet. I've been so busy. I'll try to view it in the next day or so and let you know.

I started it with a 6lb ball and had to go get my 4lb. I was sore for a few days mainly from going too heavy for the speed of the moves. It's okay, but it's no Cathe. ;)

I hope you don't mind me asking this. Just a few days ago I was reading about a couple of her workouts. I don't currently own any by her. I was interested in All About Legs and Awesome Strength. They sound good but I'd like to know for sure if they're worth it. Any opinions? Thank you.

I have done All about Legs since I got it from netflix. I purchased all about abs. legs, lots of different workouts but not really anything too exciting for me.

i own MM kick butt boot camp, all about abs, and her new gliding cardio crazy and med ball madness.

i usually reach for Cathe first about 9 times out of 10.

I watched some of Med Ball Madness tonight. It is divided into the following sections:

Crazy Cardio
Strength and Cardio Intervals
Cardio Cooldown/Standing Core
Floor Muscle Madness (supine core, side lying and prone)

It looks like a typical Mindy workout. There are lots of squats, lunges with some interesting exercises. The ab section looks great. I like Mindy because she always has innovative and different exercises and she is hardcore and always lots of fun. I'll probably use my 8lb ball since I only have a 8 and 10 pound ball.

I also have Awesome Strength as well. I love it because it offers you the option of working on a bosu, the floor or a step. It also uses a stability ball, a body bar and/or tubing. So, you can do a different workout every time. The DVD starts with a challenging lunge and squat combo on the bosu, step or floor. The floor work targets the gluts, hamstrings, and abs. There is also alot of pushups. It's a super fun work and Mindy keeps you smiling and laughing throughout. It's typical Mindy, very hardcore and challenging. Her strength amazes me especially as she nears her 47th birthday later this month.

Thanks for the feedback Jane. I have a lot of Mindy's on my trade list over at VF. I'm looking for different ways/instructors/workouts to work my body (used to do all Cathe, all the time). I'm finding that my mind and my body enjoys the variety and makes my Cathe's even MORE enjoyable when I go back to them! From the previews, it looks like Mindy would compliement Cathe's workouts b/c she works the body in a completely different way from Cathe. I'm in the midst of trading for All About Legs so I'm excited to try it.

i have awesome strength, but i haven't done it lately. its pretty neat that they show tons of modifications for equipment. more functional/cardio strength then actual strength. this one i do recommend. i also did all about legs from netflix but i much prefer her strength toolbox. pretty much the same ideas as the all about series. 3 segments each for arms, abs, legs. each has a segment for tubing, bodyweight, or handweights. the set is lighter she cues better and has a separate warm up and cool down segments that i really enjoy. its not programmable but its still a useful dvd.

i do not really care for her cardio workouts except for the one that has pump party on it(really old one). i viewed the clip and it just doesn't click with me. i much prefer her medball use with the strength workouts that have a cardio like feeling as opposed to doing straight cardio moves with a med ball. but that is just me

ITA regarding the difference between Cathe and Mindy. The workouts that I have that I love by Mindy, besides Awesome Strength is Extreme Intervals. Kassia mentioned this in her previous post. Extreme Intervals is step drills and hi/lo intervals. It's one of my favorites for doing when I have indulged too much. It is on the same video as Pump Party. I think it is only available on VHS. I want to email Mindy to see if they will put in on dvd. I also like Energy Action Circuit which uses a body bar and Strength Express (which is available on dvd with 2 other workouts by other instructors). Strength Express uses a med ball and body bar with lots of push ups.

ok, I emailed them AGAIN and still nothing....

I hate to call and tell them to keep them, but if I don't receive these soon, I think that is what I am going to do.....I mean, they emailed me and told me they would ship in late MAy.....x( x(

I'm really surprised to hear about the customer service issue. I have ordered from Mindy a few times in the past, and have always had excellent service. My DVDs have always arrived quickly, and she personally responds to emails and seems warm and friendly.
