Million Dollar Baby

You know, that's kind of what my husband & I thought too. It was a good movie and all, but I don't know that I'd really consider it Oscar worthy. I really like Hillary Swank, think she's a wonderful actress, but I think that's defintly one I'll watch once & forget about it.

Yikes! If you guys are going to post spoilers, give some warning for those of us who haven't seen it yet. :(

I'm not "hard". In fact, I was crying on my way in to work this morning while listening to a book that I've already read! I guess I just wasn't into the movie enough. If she had been a dog that got "put down" at the end, I would have cried.:D

Who can't watch SEVEN over and over again?!

This movie was so underrated. It was interesting on many, many levels. It was extremely symbolic if you watched between the lines so to speak. There's a definite moral to it that may have been missed do to the graphic content.

I was so looking forward to seeing this movie, although I had NO idea it was going to be so sad. I thought it was going to be a female version of Rocky. So, I was pretty sad by the end. Sooo sad. As far as Hillary goes, I think she did pack on muscle and was "big" for Hillary and Hollywood. I really like her. She seems down to earth to me. And I agree, I think Hillary is normally a pretty small person and Linda H did look buffer in T2.

Saw it, liked it, thought it deserved all the oscars it got. But then, I like just about anything Clint Eastwood does. Did you know he wrote the music for it? He's quite the musician.
Just Do It! :)
