Micro-dermabrasion..anyone have any experience?

Hi all! I have been thinking about having this done for about a month now. I have some faint acne scars on my chin, below the corners of my mouth. They only started bothering me recently.

If anyone has had this done, I am curious to see what outcomes you've had. Will it really reduce the appearance of acne scars and what was the recovery like, if any.

I have not gone for a consultation or anything like that yet.

If anyone could provide any insight, I'd appreciate it.

I've actually just had my first treatment 3 weeks ago. The lady that did it said I would notice a difference almost immediately. She was right! My skin was much smoother and almost glowing. Others noticed too!

Like you, choose it to help get rid of acne scars. She suggested coming every 3 weeks, so I ended up getting a package...5 for $400. No recovery time at all, which is the nice part. I wouldn't recommend waxing or anything right away though. But I love it!! I'd suggest it to anyone.

Did you go to a dermatologist or plastic surgeon? The spa that I go to for facials offers it as a service as well.
