Michele I am so sorry I missed your message! Thank you so much for the support and prayers!

Yesterday was the funeral, it really hit my mom hard. They have been together for 23 years! Helmut had his first stroke 9 month ago and the second one was Easter Monday. He couldn't do anything on his own anymore! Last Friday he started getting water in his lungs. He refused to go to the hospital. I think he knew he was dying! Helmut died Monday morning, right next to my mom in his sleep. I hope for the cremation that my DH and I are going to be there!

I was going to fly out right way, but my sons gratution is next week!

My DH and I will fly to Nuernberg May 28 - June 12. i am so happy my DH is going to be there for us.

Wow, I must have missed your post that your Mom's husband passed. I am so sorry to hear that, Belinda!!!

What a sad occassion to fly to Germany, but I am glad you and your DH will be able to go, I am sure it means a lot to your Mom.
