Wow! I truly admire your eye and talent for finding such beautiful antique treasures. They are so lovely. Thank you for sharing them . I can tell the Oil on Velvet, Provenance must be absolutely breathtaking in person.

Thank you so much, Robin! The oil on velvet painting is my all time favorite and I really lucked out when I found it. The colors are rich browns, blues, and greens. It's very hard to find Ohio antiques from that early. The artist, a child, was from a prominent family in the Cincinnati area.

I have a few more nice pieces but I don't have pictures of them. I was just messing around with a borrowed digital camera when I took the these photos so they aren't very good. My insurance company has advised me to photograph everything so I really need to get on it!

Thanks again for the compliment. It validates my favorite pastime!
