Kudos to Phelps and Crew in the Medley to win the GOLD.
Time now to focus on track & field, rowing, etc...
And, great run from the Romanian to win the women's marathon.

I agree Jennifer, the women's marathon winner from Romania had one great run!!
 
The Olympics have been awesome. Phelps and his gang are truly amazing. Was Ian Thorpe giving him crap or something?? Didn't catch that.

Also, the Romanian - OMG! What a race. I also felt bad for the British runner who apparently quit in 04 or stopped? She finished that marathon just for principle because watching her run made me in pain - that poor woman, but what guts and stamina she had to finish.

They said the Romanian woman ran something like a 5:20 the whole way....I cannot even fathom...

I think that it's great that he did this and I am glad for that.

But I think that I am even happier that the commentators will have to start talking about something else now :rolleyes:
 
I loved hearing about Phelps! Amazing man! I'm so happy for him and for his family.

Dara is an inspiration - Silver by 1/100th of a second! Amazing at 41.

I'm enjoying the Olympics as well. Sometimes I wonder about some of the sports, though. Trampoline? But man can those ladies fly!!
