MetRx on Wedding Video???????

hi everyone

Anyone know about Met rx.. i saw it on the end of the wedding vid and was wondering if anyone knew about it... or tried it etc.. I am in desperate need of pre workout energy without eating a big meal.. any suggestions or thoughts would be sooo appreciated.

I drink at least one Met-rx protein drink a day, not the meal replacement drink which is a bit different. I've only had the chocolate but I actually like it, it's not chalky like alot of others. I believe it's 110 calories, 2 carbs, low fat, and 26(?)grams of protein. I buy my powder at Kroger's.

Get some samples before you spend money on it. It's expensive and quite frankly, in my opinion, it's some of the raunchiest tasting "food" on the planet. I wouldn't eat it if I was starving to death.

Some of the protein shakes are good though. I particularly like Genisoy Natural Chocolate shake with 1% milk. It tastes exactly like a chocolate milkshake to me. No "off" taste.

Most of the protein shakes come in individual packets as well as the big cans, so you can try them without spending a lot of money until you know you like the product.

If you need pre-workout energy I would suggest something like juice or a piece of fruit. To fuel your workouts, you need carbs. Have some protein after the workout if you like, to help your muscles recover.

hi kandeycane, i usually enjoy MetRx AFTER a good weight workout. i get the vanilla flavor and mix it in a blender with water and frozen strawberries. TASTES GREAT. try it.. i think you'll like it. cj
