Just getting us started...I did the newest I-Tread today, it is called "Drills" not bad..

What is "Drills" all about? I did Bootcamp (the original) this morning and now I feel so accomplished;)

I'm off to the shower and I'll bbl.

Here is a link to the I-Tread Drills workout..I hope it works..You can click on the "details and instructions" and it tells you about the workout..I tried to copy & paste the words to put them here but it wouldn't let me do it. Don't you love how it feels when your workout is done in the morning...especially on Friday! :D

That commercial is pretty funny! Did you get the free I-Train download? I kept checking my downloads, and found out on the OD forum that you have to go to the checkout to get it! Duh! I got the newest one, #27 Drills..I can actually keep up with Grace's numbers up to the last drill..then I had to slow down..It's different and I like it.

Brrr...so c-c-c-c-cold. I woke up cold and checked the thermostat--it's only at 58 right now because apparently the heat's not working. x( I checked and we have gas on the stove, so it's not that the gas is out. I also checked the pilot light on the boiler and it's on. So I'm out of my range of expertise. Emailing back and forth with DH now about it and I think we're going to have to call a plumber soon. Lucky thing it's going to be a fairly mild day (temps in the 50s). The bummer is Isaac's off school today and the kid gets cold easily. Poor thing.

Deb, no, I don't eat anything weird before bed; I've just always had weird dreams pretty much every night since childhood.

Shelley - way to go on Bootcamp! I guess this evening you get to pick up the Sophiemiester, right?

Deb - I've never tried an iTread. The thing I like about Cardio Coach is actually that he doesn't use numbers! Sean tells you what levels you should be working at, and I pretty much go by how it feels to me - I hardly ever look at numbers, and I NEVER take my heart rate.

Lanie - I hope you get the heat fixed! 58 is pretty darned cold if you have to sit around in it all day.

I did Low Max last night and really put power into the moves. My calf is happy as can be today, and I'm excited!!! Oh, and I took my measurements last night. :7 :7 The tape measure promises me that I've melted. Don't ask me how, but I'm not arguing.
 
Good morning, Melters!

Hooray for Friday! I weighed myself and am down only a teensy bit, which is weird because I was really good with my eating this week. Ah, well!

Today I have to do some work in the morning, but then I'm taking the afternoon off! I'll be meeting a friend from work for lunch (he just published a book, so I'm taking him out to celebrate), then I'm going to meet DH for a movie when he gets done teaching, before we meet up with my family for dinner. It'll be nice to take a break from work! I may also try to stop at Nordstrom to get re-fit for some bras because I desperately need some new ones. One of the downsides about losing 15 pounds is that the girls are going away. Sigh! Why can't things ever be simple?!

Today I'll be starting up a four-week rotation using GS, so I'll be doing GS Legs. I hope Robin got off to a nice start this morning!

Deb -- Glad that you're back into the swing of your workouts! Are you feeling better?

Shelley -- How's the weather there? You and Deb are getting me interested in doing ITreads! It sounds like so much fun!

Shannon -- Yes, it does feel good to know that it's Friday doesn't it?! How fantastic that your calf isn't bothering you after Low Max! That's such a leg-intensive workout! And congrats on the melting!

Tneah -- That was so fun to see the Zantrex commercial! How cool, too, that you do Strivectin! My SIL worked in cosmetics at Macy's for about eight years until she had my niece, and she swears by it. Are you going to be in SD this weekend? Looks like a big storm is coming! Did DH make it to DC yesterday without any hitches?

Lainie -- Ewan is just so adorable in that video! It was neat, too, to hear your voice on it! Did you sleep better last night? Hope you get that heat going soon!
 
Good Sleepy Morning Everyone:)

Our alarm went off in the house in Las Vegas last night and we couldn't find anyone to go over there (besides the police) and reset it and check all the doors...apparently it was the windy weather that blew open a door. But DH and I were on the phone with the alarm people all night long. I finally got a hold of someone to go check things out this morning. Good grief. Whatta drama. No sleep sucks, I always feel hung over or something after a crappy night.

Deb, I am the same way, I like the numbers in itreads too. I will have to try the newer drills one.

Shelley, sounds like your day started off great, Bootcamp most certainly is an accomplishment!

Shannon, glad to hear the calf is behaving itself, Lowmax is intense isn't it?

Lainie, hope you get all warm and cozy soon, brrr...loved the videos!

Leannne, I know, I am preparing for the windy stormy weather, got the umbrella's out and need to "talk" to George about limiting his "potty" breaks today!

Sorry, boy I sound so blasse today don't I? I have sucked down two mugs of coffee already and still feel like going back to bed, plus I think PMS hit, I scarfed down a Weight Watchers ice cream bar last night during the drama.And have a very bad attitude about my workout today as well. Icky. I feel like I am sliding a little on my plan...anyway! Need to go walk the dog and get myself together. BBL in a much better mood, I promise!

Hey Tneah -- Just try to get some extra rest/sleep today if you can! You poor thing! What a stressful night! :)
 
Just finished my workout...I did #3 itread and loved it, I was so grumpy this AM, I used that energy to really push myself-I even ran at 6.0 for 90 seconds, no I am not supposed to do that, but I needed to get the bad energy out of my system and it worked until I started lifting...did chest and arms/calves. For some reason I got really grumpy again, hey, maybe today was just supposed to be a cardio day!:) At least its over with.
Leanne, thanks sweetie, you are so nice. And remember, you have lost sooo much weight already, and are building muscle, so that scale is gonna be really stubborn and hard to use as a gauge. Much better? A pair of too tight pants or something, at least thats what I am going by right now.
My body feels like its in a "holding pattern" right now. And I am quite sure my little "treats" are slowing progress. Didn't need to eat that ice cream bar last night....PMS sucks.Plus, for some reason, everytime I am in SD I feel like I get waterlogged--that is all in my head right? But Vegas is so dry, once I get home its like all the water in my system dries up and I look alot leaner...ok, I am obsessing now.

Ok, time to go out and "gather" once again! We cannot stock too much on the boat, so you go through food alot faster, and water too. BBL to see whats up with you all.
 
I'm back. The good news is I have heat again! Yay! I'm sitting next to a hot radiator right this minute, in fact. We ended up calling in a plumber (whom the previous owners used) and it cost us $120, but he got it working again. I also managed to get groceries this morning while Ewan was at nursery school (Isaac's out of school today) and the plumber came at noon.

After he left I did my BFL upper body workout.

Shannon, good news on the happy calf and melty measurements! WTG!

Leanne, yeah, slept a bit better last night, but I'm still tired today. Of course, it didn't help that I got up and first thing had to deal with the heating problem. Glad you liked the video. Yeah, now lots of people have heard my voice. I only wish it sounded like it sounds in my head. You know how it is--never sounds right when you play it back.

Tneah, wow, that sounds like quite the ordeal with the alarm last night. It's no wonder you were pooped and discouraged this morning. I'm so impressed that you got a good workout in anyway.
