Hi everyone. I'm having a sort of sleepy morning. But at some point I plan on getting up and trying one of Kelly Coffey-Meyer's new 30-Minutes to Fitness workouts. Surely I can find the energy to do at least a half hour of weights.
Of course, it's probably my own fault I'm tired, considering I was doing goofy stuff at 11pm last night instead of being in bed already. I was posing one of the kids' Spider-Man action figures and taking pictures of him. I am thinking I might use the pics on my blog because most of them were yoga poses. Rather silly but I'm not above being silly, obviously. Oh, and here's Spider-Man when he found out Cathe is having two road trips this summer:

Perhaps he wants to come with me.
OK, maybe I do need more sleep.
The bad ankle is still a bit swollen, but not as much, and it's not so green-looking, so I take that as a good sign. I'll take a short walk out later to the dry cleaner and maybe the library, but those are only 2-3 blocks away.
Deb, congrats on the great weight loss! I lost 25 lbs in '07, myself, but was aiming to lose 35. Of course, I have since gained 10 back. Eek! I blame the injuries.... And the piggish eating.... Yeah, I had to return some shoes that I got in the wrong size (for Ewan). I got him a pair that's the right size but didn't realize until I got home that they have shoelaces instead of velcro--not a good idea for a 2-year old. So I'll be returning again.
Jennifer, enjoy the better weather!
Tneah, good luck with your dental and chiropractic visits. Hope it's a happy visit at the dentist.
Robin, sorry about the evil co-worker. I've been there done that. My last job my immediate supervisor was evil and didn't like me (and I'm so darn likable!

) She didn't have a lot of power over me in the sense she couldn't fire me or anything like that, but she had smaller powers, like she was the one who brought assignments to our little office of 4 women. One of the other women realized the evil woman was sticking the worst documents where I'd get them when it was my turn. (I was doing proofreading and word processing--fixing and prettying up accounting documents--exciting stuff.) One time she did my evaluation because we were between bosses who could do it, and she said something like I wasn't a team player and didn't work well with the others. My other co-workers were shocked because we were good friends and got along well. OK, sorry for the self-centered story--just wanted to say I understand how it can be with an evil co-worker.
Shelley, Is Sophie feeling any better? I can understand how that would wear you out. Don't be discouraged about your weight! I'm sure I still outweigh you! I have the same issues with the bouncing scale, but unfortunately it's mostly bounced in an upward direction lately. x( I was thinking I was going on the August RT, but if you're thinking July I might have to change my mind! I might be traveling on the first registration date, so that's part of why I was thinking August. Also, we're thinking we'll visit family in Texas some time in July so I was leaving that month open for that.
