Mel you are so anxious to get into those jeans aren't ya!!!!

Looks like a GREAT rotation (you cardio nut). I'm on a pursuit for EVERYTHING right now. I'm trying to do P90X upperbody, GS Upperbody, and an allbody endurance throughout the week AND do legs 5 days per week (as in FREESTYLE). I don't think I can fit anything else in. I'm tacking on TJ's at the end of my weight workouts for cardio (kind of like dessert). That boils down to working each upperbod part 3 times per week and legs 5 times. I'm trying to get abs in at least 3 times as well. We'll see how long I can keep this up }( }( }( .

I'd love to check in with ya though. I need someone to make me stick this out!! Please don't overdo. It has to be harder to recover with a Csection. Actually I can't really compare cause I haven't had one...I just remember watching my dog c sectioned and it does NOT look easy to bounce back from - so take it easy as you ease back into it. How is your tummy feeling?? Do you have to take it slower with AB work? I'm sure I'm wasting my breath and you are going to dive back in right?? :) :) :)

Briee

Hi Briee! I knew I could count on a comment from YOU!!! How are you doing? I was going to e-mail you...I was thinking about you yesterday. ;)

This is the first rotation I've ever made up and YES, I'm super determined to get into those jeans. I began a rotation this last week (one of Cathe's Jan rotations from the past). It felt so good to do Cathe again. I DID get some results, but not what I was looking for specifically. I lost 2 lbs, which is great...but I gained an inch in my arms and thighs. I'm afraid I needed to do more cardio than I did, thus my own rotation.

As of yet, I have not begun an ab work. I want to ease into it a little this week to come. My middle is very spongy and lose. It's actually quite gross. As my mom would say, "That's why they make clothes Mel".

Thanks for checking in Briee. BTW, how's that baby itch going?!?!?

Hey Melani--looks good (she said wistfully.....) I'll join you in spirit. Keep us posted on your progress.

Maggie
1 week, 1 day and time is dragging.....

When I get pregnant Mel....everything else decides that it's going to join in on the fun. I looked at measurements when I was prego with Bethany (baby #2) and I gained like 8 inches in my tush (it may have been 10). IT's like my whole body says...."she's prego sooo....lets gain inches". It has all come off, but no matter what I do, I always have to progress through "stages" it seems. I have like 3 sticking points that I can't break until I get past that "time period". I always think "I'll never loose any more weight no matter how I try" and then...bang, I hit that stage in postpartum and off it comes. Really weird, but it seems no matter how hard I try...I have to wait it out. I don't think this will apply to you...you are so determined I just know you'll be back in those jeans in no time:7 :7 :7 .

I'm doing fine, thanks for asking. The baby itch is subsiding a little. I'm having so much fun with DH right now. I'm enjoying the break. We went to a new years eve party last night at a Christian camp that is an offshoot of our church and went tubing on their hill. It was almost solid ice and you can imagine (no you can't!) how fast we shot down those shoots. It was a blast. It took me an hour to gain the nerve to go down, but after I did I got used to the speed and bumps and then dh and I had races (there were two shoots). Felt like a kid again!!!! Nope not prego yet ;) ;) ;)

Briee

Briee--I have always had sticking points too, but they seem to be at certain weights, rather than times--they seem to be spaced at 10-15 lb intervals. I'll just get stuck and start fretting about my thyroid and then in about a month to 6 weeks, bam, it starts coming off again. Grrr...I wish I did not have them.

take care
Maggie

I think you may be right about that Maggie....it is at certain weights that I get stuck. But they seem to occur at certain months post partum - but no your right (I'm thinking out loud here)...they are certain weights. I get so mad because it doesn't matter how hard I work, nothing happens and then when I give up...all the sudden it comes off and I wonder why I worried. You are so smart Maggie!! Now remember that when you are frustrated post partum Maggie....K??!!!!!

Briee

Arghhhh--it can't happen this time. I have my 20 year class reunion this summer and although I have 6 dear children, I don't want to look like it. How's that for pure vanity?

Maggie:p :+ :7

I think we can all relate Maggie, to some point we're all vain...aren't we?
I cannot believe you're so close!!!! My new goal is to fit into my jeans before Maggie has her baby!!!!! LOL ;) ;)

OOOOOOO what an evil thing to say Mel to an almost due mom..."never leave the womb". }( }( }(

That IS how it feels when you are almost due though, I know!!!

Okay Maggie..confessions....I'm the same way. I don't want to LOOK like I've had 6 kids!! But I am convinced that God also has some purpose in my working out faithfully. I'm still wanting to go to the African jungle one day for missionary work. I'm so sick of this home project...I told my dh..."let's find someone to live in our home and take care of my aging mom and we'll go to Africa". Any volunteers??????

Hey what are you new years resolutions everyone???

Mine are thus far:
1) To share Christ with as many as God will lead into my life.
2) Faithful Bible reading EVERYDAY
3) Keep a very brief journal of daily happenings
4) Keep better school records (I'm so bad at this)
5) Workout EVERY DAY unless I am SICK...no excuses.

Last night was sooooo funny. I didn't work out in the a.m. like I usually do so at 9:00 I was heading down to workout, dh was on the couch watching a show and he sucked me in...then the show ran until after 12:00. WELL...at 5 minutes until 12 I happen to wake up and glance at the clock (I had fallen asleep). I jumped up ran to the basement and did P90X Back and Biceps. Got to bed at 2 a.m.....BUT I DID MY WORKOUT FOR JANUARY 2nd. Hate to mess up on the second day!! So what are yours????

Briee (I'm tired!!)

LOL...I just noticed that you posted even your "minutes" until you are due Maggie!!! I remember that point when every minute was an eternity. Must be great to know you can count on this to be the end!!

Briee

No New Year Resolutions for me this year, just didn't have the time to make up a list. I like your though Briee!!

Yuck! Speaking of "sticking points," ladies, I feel like a fat lard! I have been stuck at 133 forever and can't get any more off. It is killing me.

x(

(Yes, I am completely nuts!)

That was my prepregnant wt...oh how I wish I weighed 133 now!! I'm 5'8" so that seems to be a good wt for me. :)

Oh, I feel a little bit guilty for my misery! But you have a good 3 inches in height more than me! I have 13 pounds to go to pre-Lily weight and 18 pounds to get to pre-Max weight. The weightloss has been stagnant for 2 months. :-(

Emy, why don't you join me in my rotation? Or at least join the postpartum posts. I miss you!

Hi everyone--yup, gonna be induced @7:00am on the 9th. I feel a little bit guilty, but am praying that if the Lord does not want this He will thwart my desires.

However, today I went to the doc and he told me I was almost at 4 cm, sooo, there is a really good chance that I will go before that. He offered to induce me tomorrow, but I want to wait until my due date passes.

I was 132 and almost a size 4 (my goal) at 5'4". I'd be really happy to get there again, although I'd like to be in the mid 120's. I do not have a petite bone structure, so I carry a heavier weight pretty well. Also, I have a lot of muscle as I love to lift as heavy as possible. Back in the day, 132 would have had me at an 8/10, weird, but there it is. My husband prefers me at about 140-145x(--He has always liked "meaty" women that carry a lot of flesh:p :p :p. Sort of takes the pressure off, though, if I stay a porker.

take care all
Maggie
