Mediterranean Diet

Not as a total diet, but I've heard it's very healthy for your heart. Olive oil is great for your cholesterol. Feta cheese is lower in fat (than say...cheddar). Mmmmm....give me a chunk of feta and I'm a happy girl! I put some on every salad!

Souvlaki and gyros...yummmmmmmm!!!!! But stuffed grape leaves - GAG! Those things are just nasty!
 
I love feta cheese (some brands are better than others), love gyros, and I make my own stuffed grape leaves - yummy : ) I use olive oil in everything instead of other oil.

Hmmm --- I just keep reading how this way of eating is very healthy way of eating, and just wondering if anyone has done this to lose weight?
