Medical problems again!! Argghhh

Cathlete
Hi all,
I don't want to burden everyone with my problems, but I feel like I can always come here for a shoulder to cry on.
I've posted before that I have a severe kidney disease and after moving to Phx. discovered I only have 30% kidney function left. I've pretty much accepted and dealt with that fact.
Yesterday I went to the doc for a routine pap. He found two lumps in my breast and two polyps in my colon. Needless to say I left the office feeling less than elated. I felt ok last night, but woke up this morning REALLY worried.
On the upside, (if there is one right now), he said my heartrate and pulse were incredibly low. (Thank you, Cathe.)
Again, sorry to burden you guys....just wanted to vent a little.:-(

Sending a great big cyber hug to you, (((((((SHERRY)))))))!!! Sounds like you have a lot on your shoulders right now. I hope that you and your Doc are jumping right on the breast mass problem and I'll be sending out a prayer for you. Yes, thank goodness for Cathe who helps us to be strong...physically and, in some ways, emotionally. It's essential thru the tougher times, ain't it?

Good luck to you.

You are totally in my thoughts, Sherry. I'm so sorry for what you are going through. You're such a strong spirit for keepin' going even with your kidney dysfunction, now this. Stay positive, though. You don't have results yet, and even if things end up on the scary side, you don't know anything yet, and it might be pretty cleanly treated. My heart and well wishes to you. Stay positive, and post as much as you want!!! We're here for you!!!
XO

LAST EDITED ON Sep-18-02 AT 12:36PM (Est)[p]I join with the others in saying I am so sorry for the problems you are facing.

I too am living with poor kidney function (not sure how much kidney production I have or have lost). You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Don't think of yourself as a burden your not you just needed to get this out. When my doctor first told me I had lost kidney function he also told me that I was days away from kidney failure. Whilst being treated I would wake up in the night absolutely terrified couldn't tell anyone as my oldest sister had recently died and the whole family was in mourning for that I didn't want to burden them.

Just take it a day at a time. Keep us informed.

Love kisses and a big cyber hugg ((( :) ))) (I don't give them) to just anyone you know.

Sherry:

my thoughts are with you. Please do everything possible to get well. Cyber hugs from all of us here at the educated crowd,

Sherry, you can come and vent anytime you need. There will ALWAYS be someone here to listen. How frightening it must be to you! Thinking of you and saying extra prayers that everything will come back fine. You are amazing that you do Cathe tapes even with your kidney disease. I hope some of your workouts help to alleviate some of the stress. Keep us posted.

Wow, you are all amazing! Thank you for your responses!!! Literally wiping tears away as I just read your posts. Being a part of this "family" is so rewarding. Thank you all again.

Sherry:

I second what everyone else here has said. My heart goes out to you. See however many doctors you need to, but make sure, they're good, reputable doctors. I hope your family and friends will be there for you; I'm sure they will. It also never hurts to get support from church friends and ministers as well. I will pray for you as hopefully, all the gang will here. I've learned that the Cathe crowd is a great bunch.

Best wishes and prayers,

Martina
