I met with my new chiropractor on Friday and she did some evaluations: she took xrays of my low back and neck, did a grip test and weight distribution test. She told me I was very strong (my favorite part of the visit!!
)
My weight distribution is off- I stand about 13 pounds more on my right foot than my left, and she said when she put me flat, my right leg is about 1/2 inch shorter than my left!! (not leg length, a pelvis issue) My right hand can grip about 15 "points" more than my left. She said they allow for 5 points different on both exams.
Have any of you encountered this kind of thing? I'm having troubles with my left shoulder and I have a stress fracture in my lower left leg that still doesn't feel healed after 2 years.
I'm just curious what I might expect from a chiropractor- this was my first visit. I go back Wednesday to talk about my xrays with her and hear what she thinks. I'm interested in any results anyone has had?
Thanks so much!
