I asked the lady about growing hair out quickly when I went in for my treatment today. I am also growing my hair out, and told you about those vitamins that I am taking. Well she encouraged those as well as a few other things. Basically she said that she sees an inch a month (!!!!!!
!!!!!) growth with the vitamins, and I believe it. I would have to say that if I took off all trims in the last 4 months my hair has grown at least that much.
The other thing she added in was a scalp treatment. Keeping the scalp clean and clear is important....I believe she said a 'beautiful bed makes beautiful roses' or something corny like that
Bottom line is that you need to make sure there is good exfoliation and no fungus, yes fungus, growing on your scalp. She used a microscopic camera on my scalp and hair and let me tell you no one should see that on themselves. I don't care how beautiful she said my scalp and hair were, I fought nausea.
Anyway, the products she set me up with were Phytopolleine for the scalp. Once a week apply it to the scalp and massage it in. You can leave it in overnight if you want. It has a pointy little tip to kind of get in there and smells like tea tree oil but has a lot of other stuff in it as well. Yumm is all I have to say!!
Then she made a mask like mixture of Phytonectar combined with Phytosesame (also your after shower conditioner) and smoodged that all into my hair and put me under a dryer for 20 minutes or so. She said I could do the same thing but braid it and sleep on it, or just put my hair in a bun all day. I can do this whole thing once a week. The scalp treatment and the masking.
The shampoo is Phytojoba, and the conditioner is the Pytosesame. In addition I use the Phyto 9 on my tips and Phytomist after the shower for leave in conditioning and detangling.
I know this is a lot, but these products last a while. Not to mention that they work. I hate spending money on things that don't. I will also end this by saying that my hair feels phenominal after this treatment which is saying a lot because not only do I color but I live high in the Sierras where it is very dry and cold so my poor hair gets hammered with the sun and all the other elements. I love this stuff and my hair is growing like crazy!! Hope this helps;-)
