Maximum Intensity Strength

I just bought and used my first Cathe tape ever - Maximum Intensity Strength and I LOVE IT. It was recommended to me by a customer service rep at collage video. I'm so glad I found this site. Here is my question:

"How many times per week should I do the maximum intensity strength workout to get the best results?"

Thanks and keep up the good work! I'm sure I'll be buying more Cathe tapes in the near future.

Alot of people do a body part 2 times a week, so I guess 2 times a week, but if you want a tank top body usally you do the bicep, tricep, and shoulders 3 times, and back and chest 2 times, but the summer is almost over so maybe your better off just doing the 2 times a week. I would defenity look into Cathe's other weight workout videos this way you can do 2 different weight per week and not get bored. Have fun:p

Hi fricia,
I have this video, also the Power Hour dvd which has MIS on it, before I got Power Hour I did MIS 3 times a week. I got and am getting great results from it and Power Hour :7 ... since I got Power Hour I have increased my weight lifting to 4 days a week...... God bless ... Rhonda :7

Hi Fricia, don't you think lifting 4 times a week is to much. Wouldn't that mean that some weeks your doing it back to back which means that your not letting your muscle rest that 48 hours that you need.

fricia doesen't have to lift weights 4 times a week, I do :7 ... that was my choice after talking to another lady(friend) on here who does the same. But this friend also does it a little more different than me also. :7 .. We all decide to do what is best for us at the time, and this is best for me at this time :7 ... but I would never tell or ask fricia to do what I do, I just told her what I do. :7 ... ya'll have a wonderfully blessed day :7 :+ :7 :+ ... Rhonda

Thanks for the tips! I think I'm going to start with doing the tape 2x week for 8 weeks and see what kind of results I get. If I don't see muscle definition forming after that - I'll bump it up. My body already feels so much tighter its amazing.

What are your other favorite Cathe strength training tapes? I see Power Hour mentioned so I'll check into that.

Hi Frisia, I think 2x times a week is a good start. Couple of my favorites are the pyramids, Slow&Heavey, and Muscle Endurance. The Pyramids and S&H are strength training and of course ME is endurance where you use lighter weights more reps, which I really love. I do both strength and endurance in a week, so 1 day is endurance and the other day is strength. Let us know what you decide to get. Have fun:)

Hi again Fricia,
I have the Power Hour dvd which has MIS and Body Max on it, and I just ordered Pure Strength, can't wait to get it :7 ... happy exercising Fricia .... Rhonda :7

Frisia,
Just to confuse you more, Slow and Heavy is sooo good. It's not only effective, but exceptionally educational as well. Might as well get them all. Don't forget quantity discounts :p

Everyone is so helpful that I keep thinking of more questions! Any good suggestions for a Cathe cardio workout that doesn't involve step? Thanks

Frisia

Fricia, I like the Terminator, it has step in it but I skip the step and do the other workouts. ... hope this helps .. Rhonda :7

You also may want to check out Cardio kicks and Boot Camp. Boot camp has a tall box step but I use either a chair or my wooden stool. In Boot camp it is weight and cardio together which really gets your heart rate up. The core work is excellent. You must invest in a step next;-) I don't know if your using dvd or vhs but the terminator only comes in dvd.
