Does anyone use a mat for the floor work? Would you recommend one for me. Thank you

I use a living arts yoga matt & LOVE IT! It's purple but they come in all different colors. You can find them at Target, WalMart, K-Mart, Marshall's, D*ck's Sporting Goods, Sports Authority....need I name more? LOL

Is the mat wide enough for pushups? I find that the mat I have is too narrow so when I go to do pushups or planks it flys out from under me (so of course I do them without the mat) But would prefer some sort of cushion under my hands.

My whole living room floor is one giant exericse mat from www.greatmats.com.

You put them together like puzzle pieces, I think Home Depot or such have those kind of foam floor covering, too.

I leave it on all the time. It's easier to clean than carpet and the kids like the cushy floor.
