Hey Marla:

I do not post much, but lurk quite a bit, so I am coming out of lurkdoom. You post it a while back about your new next door neighbor who was moving in and had lot of workout equipment. Did you ever meet her? What was the outcome?

I am so jealous of you Texas gals. I am a transplant from Texas that moved here to Seattle 7 years ago, and I cannot wait to move back. I have to say that the South is so much friendlier than the West coast. I have never felt so out of place here. I hope the people in the West Coast don't get offended, but I feel people here are not as friendly. I will be moving back within the next 2-3 years, so maybe I can become part of the gtg's.

Hi Melissa. Nice to "hear" from you. You know, I'm ashamed to say I have not met her, just glimpsed her pulling in or driving out. She must have a weird schedule or travel a lot because I rarely see any lights in the house at night, just the front porch light. (Can you say Gladys Kravett? )

Well, what part of Texas would you be coming to? We are a fun group with very individual personalities that have managed to mix well. We are looking to GTG again in the spring but are still trying to coordinate schedules. We may even have a NJ girl here with us.

Wish I could have all my Cathe girls much closer though and most of all Cathe herself!:-( x(

That would be great if we had Cathe here in Texas. There is enough of us to have our own Cathe gym. LOL

Maybe your neighbor is a flight attendant. As far as moving back to Texas, we are thinking either San Antonio or Austin. We just love Austin, as it is more like Seattle (museums, music, restaurants...), but its also very pricey. (We like living close to downtown.)So, will have to wait and see. Where do you live? I used to live in N. Arlington before we moved here. It was great because we were halfway between Dallas and Ft. Worth. We loved Ft. Worth and spent a lot of time there. A GTG sounds fun. Maybe, once we move back I could join in. What the heck, I might make it sooner than that.

Cathe as our next door neighboor would be awesome!!!!!!
