Getting us started this morning, ladies. Happy St. Pat's Day. I'm not Irish and I don't really oficially celebrate by doing anything special, but I do wear green today! LOL

Today was supposed to be a rest day, but I didn't. LOL. I got on the treadmill and started to run. Ran 2.25 miles, then decided to finish out with a hill power walk. So I walked another 2.25 miles with varying inclines and actually worked up more of a sweat on the hill walk than I did during the run! LOL

Have an awesome day! I'll check back a bit later to see how you all are making out today!

Gayle

Hi Gayle and all the other rotationers. Today is an unexpected rest day for me as I pulled something in my neck. I'm actually planning on going to the Dr since I don't want to spend the weekend in pain.
I had PS legs and abs on tap for today, but I don't think I could bring a BB on my shoulders. I may do something later on. Phyllis

Happy St Pat's Day!!

Good Morning Ladies!!

Phyllis,

Sorry to hear about your neck. Your doing the right thing by going to the doctor's.

Gayle,

I do that to with my rest days...don't rest! LOL!

Yesterday I did PUB (shoulders, triceps and biceps), LowMax and Coremax 1.

I took my rest day on Weds so today I will do 3 sets of BBM w/weights and 5 sets of squats. PUB (chest/back only).

Good morning everybody and Happy St. Patrick's Day and most important of all HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!

I did a 40 min run this morning. I will do CM#3 after work or tomorrow, we'll see. We are going to Happy Hour today, so I am not sure if I have time to squeeze in my ab workout.

Phyllis - I hope you get to feel better soon, I hate it if I pull something and are unable to do my workout. x(

Gayle - good job on the run and hill climb, I normally sweat more too if I do a Hill Climb walk, I guess it's because your legs are working harder. }(

Charlotte - Awesome workout as always!

Hope everybody has a wonderful day

No, I am German. :)

No, I am pretty good at Happy Hour. I have a glass or two of red wine and normally a salad with chicken. :D

TGIF !

Gayle- nice going on the run followed by the hill climb!

Charlotte- You sure made up for you rest day!

Phyllis- I ma sorry to hear about your pain! Let us know what you find out

Krillie- My plan was to do the 40" run as you did and take Sunday as my rest day.

BUT our treadmill has just broken and we can't get it looked at until next week. We do have a bike so I did a 40" steady state ride keeping my HR in the 160-170 range. I didn't do core max. I may add it in later.

Hi gals. Did PS Legs and Abs this morning. A confession: I've had PS series for a while but don't think I've ever done the leg segment before. It was tough! My butt is sore already. I went heavy on all the weights.

Phyllis: Take care of that neck. I had a pulled muscle there once when I was taking judo. I never realized how much I used my neck muscles in everyday activity until I had pain there.

Gayle and everyone with a treadmill: You guys are getting me seriously interested in buying one. I just need to figure out where to put it! It would be so nice to not have to worry about running in the dark and rain/snow/ice/cold issues. When you guys bought yours, is it worth it to buy an extended warranty or service plan? I'm so afraid that if it breaks it would be expensive to fix or hard to find someone to do the repair.

Some good news. Although my weight hasn't changed lately, my measurements this morning showed that I've lost 3/4 inch off each thigh, 1/2 inch under my bust, and 3/4 inch off my rear. Calves, waist, forearm, and biceps have remained the same. The beginning of the year was the last time I measured. I've been bummed recently that I haven't had any success losing 3 measly pounds so this news is welcome!

TK- good for you on loosing the inches, that's wonderful!! i know how you feel about ps legs (i've only did it once before) it is a leg/glute killer!!
Phyllis-take care of yourself i hope you feel better.

i love, love, love having a treadmill in my own. it's great. you can run/walk anytime you want.

so i planned on running today but i decided to actually take a "rest" day and get some much needed house work done.
