Good morning ladies!!

Just about to get started with my workout for today and thought I would stop by and say hi..I guess everyone is sleeping in today. It is rainy here. So, I will workout and get some more cleaning done around the house!!

Today's workout will be Pure Strength Legs and Abs. Looking forward to trying this set of workouts for the first time...We went out to eat last night and I ate way too much...It was good though. So, I may add some cardio in today to make up for that!! We will see how I am after today's scheduled DVD....

I'm eager to hear how you feel about Pure Strength series, Kathy. I don't have that series either. I probably would have gotten them if I did this month's rotation too! Where did you go out to eat? I, for once, was GOOD on a Saturday. I'm usually all over the place with my eating, and I actually did well , so I'm patting myself on the back today...

I just got done with "Kickmax"! Some good exta lower body work, which I'm in need of. I really enjoy this workout, The first series of kicking/punching are really very simple and low key, and then cathe takes you to the top with those drills!! The lower body conditioning is killer at the end , and quite different than lower body & weights. I like this one much better than K,P,&C. What do you guys think?

I'm trying to "chill" today, since I was off of work last night. Yes, my husband also works nights (full time 11-7, while I work every Saturday and Sunday only, 7p-7a). We only have a sitter on the overnight Saturday and during the day on Sunday (while he and I sleep or try to sleep). But once a month, he has to work a Sunday night, and we need a sitter overnight then too.

The "chilling" didn't work out so well this morning. My boys were up at the crackbutt of dawn, and in rare form , ... just wanting to bug each other and make each other scream. *sigh*. I hate to wish for them to be grown and OUT OF THE HOUSE, but some mornings, I'd just love to sit and sip coffee in QUIET!!. I know, I will treasure these days some day, and miss them!....

Hey Chris: I hate to say it too. But, I think the same thing about my kids on occasion!! I agree with you on all that too...

I would also agree that I like Kickmax better than KPC..I like the tough blast and that leg work! I enjoyed the Pure Strength and I am glad for the purchase. I liked the floor work. Honestly, I am not much on weights...I do them..but, I prefer cardio..So, it was a great workout. Alot like the others..Kinda like Slow/heavy without the slow maybe...I don't know. Maybe you can let me know if you purchase it.

We ate at a local Italian place called Anthony's...It was so good. I had chopped sirlion and it came with steak fries and salad and bread. Which I ate all of!! Even the fries..I usually sub for steamed veggies. But, not last night. I didn't regret it at all. I enjoyed it alot. NO dessert!! Good job eating good!!

Though schedule to work at night...I am not much of a night owl. I would be falling asleep at work!! I am sure it takes getting used to..Hope you are able to chill the rest of the day. I am since we went to church last night!!

Today is my rest day:) Had to work from noon to 6. It is getting ready to rain it is real cold here too:(
