Mar Rotation 1st day of Spring! Mar 20

Hi, Phyllis! Yeah, I'll be crying tomorrow morning as well! WOW!

Thanks for the reminder of Rita's. One went in just a mile away from my house last summer, so I'll treat the kids after school!

After a great weekend, I was a bit fearful I wouldn't be able to wake up early this morning. But I did. Finished all of GS Chest & Triceps with some quivering and shaking. Then followed up with Core Max 3.

PSYCHED for week 3!!!!!!!!!

Gayle

Good morning everybody!

I did a 40 min hill climb on my treadmill this morning and will to CM#3 after work today.
I kinda had to change up the routine because I didn't workout on Saturday x( , I was supposed to do GS Chest and Triceps, but I couldn't get my lazy butt motivated.
So yesterday I did GS Chest and Triceps and when the 30 Timersaver from GS Legs.
I wanted to stay on schedule so I thought I squeeze it a little, not really what I wanted to do, but oh well. ;-)

Hope you all have a great Monday
Kristine :)

Kristine-at least you're still moving, right? Sounds like you're back on track and your plan is great!

Phyllis-I used 20 pounders on all the chest presses and 15's on the flies. I wanted to use 17 on the flies by using a 15 and wrapping 2 lb wrist weights on, but when I lifted my arms with weights up, one of my little weights (filled with metal filings) started to 'leak' right on me! LOL. So, back to the 15s till I take the time to figure out where the hole is.

I've slowly worked my way up to the 20s. It's tough, but I finally got up there. OUCH! LOL

Oh, and Phyllis-whose BEAUTIFUL WEDDING is that in your picture trail? GORGEOUS!

Hello-
I am so glad to read that other people suffered through GS chest and triceps this mornong! I did it, and I shook at the end of many sets. Now I am glad I did it and not PS for one more week.
I'll continue as prescribed. Ladies, I really look forward to these daily reports! thanks for sharing :7

PS- weights were 20# mostly on bench press and 15# on flys. triceps were 20# then 15# on the overhead sitting drop thingy (this was tough) and 10# on the lying cross body & kick backs.

Good morning strong as bull women! GS Chest and Tris are complete as well as segment #1 of coremax. I was shaking like a chihuahua at the end LOL. As for weights I went back and forth between 20 and 15, then split the difference on the barbell with 35. In retrospect I should have done 40, just didn't think I would have anything in reserve when I got to that part.

This evening I think I'll take a 30 minute run. I should've done that this morning but I'm such a weenie about the cold weather, especially in the morning.

TK, I'll tell ya what. I'll meet you for a 30 minute run tonight, ok? Keep me accountable and tell me you are expecting me for 30 minutes MINIMUM! I was going to go out after I dropped younger DS at pre-k to run the 5K course again, but I weenie'd out also! LOL. For the SAME reason of cold weather! LOL What a wimp! LOL

SO...tonight, I will do 30 minutes on the treadmill (unless I can get somebody to watch my kids for 30 minutes for an outdoor run).

KEEP ME ACCOUNTABLE! 30 MINUTES MINIMUM!

Gayle

OK, I'll be running this evening sometime, but by 8pm at the latest when I get the boys to bed. SEE YOU THERE!

Gayle

Hello strong ladies!!

Today i did 40 min on the elliptical and GS chest and tri's...OMG, this was my first time and i was shaking like crazy.
You ladies are so much stronger than me:( . I used 12 1/2 lbs for chest and only 8's for triceps.
Gayle- how long have you been working out using cathe? you are very strong.

don't you just love opening the door and recieving new fitness items? always makes me feel like i am getting closer to my goals
:)
today i got in a new weight jacket (to be able to have more weight when i am doing legs), also got in TLT-BBBB & cardio coach # 4. can't wait to use them all!!!

run ladies, run....:7

Hey SunnyD - I'm with you the weights! I was using 12's and that was alot! I'm afraid I don't have a very strong upper body. I don't think I could do 15, but I could maybe use my platemates to make 13's.
Gayle, that was my cousin's wedding in CA (Santa Monica) Thanks for the compliment!
Enjoy your runs!Phyllis

Okay Gayle, I got my 30 minutes in. It was almost perfect weather- no wind and not too cold. Definitely better than if I ran this morning! Hope to see your post soon....

Hi again!

TK-I am all changed and ready for the treadmill. I am putting the boys to bed in T minus 10 minutes, then hitting the TM. 30 minutes minimum.

Sunny D-I have been eyeing up Cardio Coach with all the talking around these boards about it. Let me know what you think, once you get a chance to try it out.

I've been doing Cathe's workouts now for about 9 months and haven't turned back since!

Gayle

Just in case anybody checks up on me tonight, I just got done with my run! I was shooting for 30 minutes, ended up erunning for 40 minutes, just over 4.5 miles. I seem to get in my groove at around 3 miles, so I knew there was a chance I'd run further than I planned.

Thanks, TK, for keeping me in line with tonight's run!

See you all in the early AM!

Gayle
