Hi Kate! NIce to see you :) I didnt see you in the check in this weekend (of course i havent been around much either) and thought maybe you had a new addition now lol :) Hope you have a good day

i'm at work, just saying good morning to everyone

Good morning ladies,

It has been raining over here last night but I think it stopped now. I love it if it rains at night. Anyway, today's workout will be one of the 4DS workouts, haven't decided which one yet.

Can't wait to see all those cute little baby pictures of everyone who just had one or soon will.

Ok, gotta go, but I'll BBL
Kristine :)

Good Morning!

It's raining here too. It's actually kind of nice, allergys have been bad lately and the rain seems to help. I am hoping my nausea won't be bad today and hopefully I can do Muscle Max or some form of weight lifting in today. I've been so excited, my little girl learned how to peddle her tricycle so we've been getting some exercise together (I walk while she peddles). It's been nice.

Hope you all have a great day. Heidi

Hi ladies! I"m hoping Stephanie might check in quick today, but probably tomorrow.

Busy day here. I have a Monday off (which never happens but I'm giving immunizations at the pharmacy on Wed) so Justin went to preschools today. He's doing much better. Then my 14 year old has dr appt for his thumb (looks broken & gross) other various errands. I tried to get up to w/o at 5 this AM but it's waaaaaaayyyyyyyy to hard to get up when you don't have to go to work!!!!

Better unpack groceries. Chat later!!

Morning everyone. I had a busy weekend. Saturday I made a road trip to San Antonio to see my sis in law and her 3 week old. I kept saying I'd take a few pics for her. But the first weekend after he was born there was tons of IKE traffic and the next few weekends I was too sick w/headaches and M/S. So I got a few. Her appt is a one bedroom and her SO was sleeping so I had to clear a corner in her living room to get a few shots. The black was just a blanket. but here are some if you wanna peek. http://s434.photobucket.com/albums/qq69/sasha_bk/Ethan/

I brought the baskets. I tried to get her to ditch the diaper and we'd just angle it so you can't see anything but she said she knew he'd pee all over everything. oh well.

other than that I dropped off some stuff to goodwill and I usually walk in just for a quick look. I found a denim jean skirt that I'm going to make into a maternity skirt. well try to anyway. wish me luck! I'm also trying to sew some skirts with an elastic waistband. I'm not all that experienced but the tutorial was pretty simple. I also bought a couple from the seller who made the tutorial and love them! :) She has an Etsy shop. Here's a link if anyone wants to see it: http://seemommysew.wordpress.com/maternity-skirt-tutorial-the-gwenna/

Melany-ouch on the finger... yikes.

Heidi - thats great on the peddals. I need to walk atleast till I'm feeling all better.
Hi Kristine, Jen and Kate :)

Hi ladies!
Just wanted to quickly check in and let you know that Charles Stephen (Charlie) was born Thursday at 8 a.m. weighing in at 7 lbs and 14 oz and was 20 inches long. He has a head full of black hair too. He's very laid back and SOOOO sweet and cuddly.

I was released from the hospital Saturday and Saturday night was ROUGH. We were up until 6 a.m. with him. I think he had bad gas. Last night was completely different. Last bottle at 10:30 p.m. then I woke him up at 3:45 for his next bottle and a diaper change. He went right back down and slept until 7:30ish, when the boys got up and were loud. I sure hope that last night is his normal trend. :)

Hope you all are doing well. Jen and Kate, any signs of labor???

I'll try to send pictures later. Sitting at the computer is not really comfortable right now. I'm still a bit sore, and my legs and feet are SOOOOO SWOLLEN!!! My legs look like Gumby's. Oh well.

Hellos and hugs to everyone else!!

Congrats Stephanie!! Enjoy your new little bundle! Share a pic later, when you have time :) For now, enjoy the new company and try to get some rest.

Congrats Stephanie and Welcome Charlie!!!!
His name goes perfect with your other boys!

bbl for more............

JenM, No baby yet! Isabel was 11 days early which means this baby could come TOMORROW!!! I'm ready!:) Hope work goes good today!

Kristine, Rainy here too, but I love a good gray day once in a while. Enjoy your WO - I love the double cardio premix!

Heidi, I love MM! ^5 on the trike!

Melanie, yay for a day off!!! Glad preschool is better for Justin! That's hard when that doesn't go well.

Calvillo, I am pea-green with envy on your sewing skills! Anything I need mended I send to my MIL!

Stephanie, We can't wait to see pics of Charlie! Hope things are going well today. Did you send the boys to school or are they home with you?

Someone asked for my sugar cookie recipe....here it is.
Beat 3/4 c. butter until fluffy.
Still beating, Add 1 c. sugar
Still beating, Add 2 eggs.
STILL beating add 1 t. vanilla.
You can stop beating now!
Add 2.5 c. flour, 1 t. baking soda, and 1 t. salt - Mix well on a low speed, being careful not to overmix.

Chill for an hour or 2 before you roll them out on a floured surface.

Here's our frosting recipe:
3 sticks butter
3. conf. sugar
2 T. milk
2 t. vanilla

Beat butter until fluffy (30 sec)
With mixer on low speed, add sugar, 1 c. at a time. Increase to high speed and mix until fluffy, about 1 minute. Reduce speed to med-low and add milk & vanilla. Increase speed to high for about 30 sec.

****This frosting because its made with butter has a yellow-tinge to it so if you want white frosting, use THIS recipe:

Mix 2/3 c. white Crisco with 1t. vanilla extract. Add 1/4 c. milk and 1 lb. conf sugar. Mix all well.
THis white forsting, if memory serves, is extra-thick. Seems like I always need to add more milk......

Let me know if you have any questions.

OH! I almost forgot. A lot of times I sub in almond extract for the vanilla. YUMM!!!!

Hi Y'all! I am off to my last prenatal appt in a few minutes. My mom is here-she got here lastnight...just in case:). My DH will be home from work soon. Tomorrow is the big day...
My DS totally surprised me this morning when I told him he wouldn't be going to daycare/school today or tomorrow. He said, "Mommy is going to the hoptal to have baby Aidan, and I stay with PopPop and Nana.":D I was blown away-I didn't realize that he understood the situation as much as he did! My friend stopped by with her 2 week old and her DD (also 3 years old), so DS got a chance to see a new baby. He gave her a rattle:). I think the library books about being a big brother are helping too!
So, at 1:00p.m., my C/S will begin...can you tell I am nervous???

Stephanie-CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow-you were released super quick! I think I'll be in until Thursday:(. I love the name too-how cute. I am glad to hear that everything went well! I can't wait to see the pictures. I'll have to check back online when I come home.

HI Kate-So, you could be any minute too? Wow!

Hello to everyone else! I am off to the dr's.
-Jen

yay two babies this week. :) hope to see pics soon.
Congrats Stephanie!! :)

Kate -don't be jealous. I'm just learning! lol. I'm hoping I can make something that looks nice.

Congrats Stephanie! I"m so happy for you. :) :) Sniff your wee-one real deep for me!

Jory spent 2 hours at clinic this AM, XRays, drainage, etc.... I"m not eager to see the bill. :( Not much we can do, except trust that God will provide for us. My kids are so healthy---he was so giddy at the clinic, like he'd never been in one. He was really cute. :)

My body is preparing for ovulation. CM is getting wetter--just a couple days away.

It's rainy here today too. I don't mind, I have a couple more loads of laundry to do & need to finish my Bible Study lessons.

Tomorrow we have a super busy day---4 "appts", the 4 day work stretch. The calm before the storm! I'm a little nervous about giving immunizations on Wednesday b/c i haven't done them for a year. Who will volunteer to be my first?!?!?!

Jen, I'm so excited for you! This time tomorrow you'll be holding your new little boy! I'm glad DS is coming around to things and being excited! How cool!

Calvillo, Learning is still more than I'm doing!:p

Melanie, Gld Jory is doing well. And hey, the bills won't come for at least a month!:p Good luck with the shots - yuck!

I *think* I'm losing my mucous plug. This technically means NOTHING - doesn't mean I'll go into active labor today, but it still makes me excited!

I just did LS 4 miles - hoping to shake that baby outta there!

Better go get some stuff done...........

Stephanie~congrats!!!! I hope he sleeps well again for you! I can't wait to see a pic or two! Sorry you are so swollen. I bet in the next few days it will start to come off. You'll be peeing like crazy and shrink fast. ((hugs))

Cavillo~what beautiful pics!! I just love baby feet!! The one of his yawning is too cute as well!

Kate~soon very soon!! Sugar cookies sound good!!

Hi Melainie, Heidi and Jen!

I had my appt today and we are I think going w/ the 20th. I got on the 15th for pre-op and to finalize a time, but I am pretty sure it will be the 20th in the am. I gained a lb this week and all else was good. I laid around all day feeling blah. I hope tomorrow is better. It is quite depressing to go from being so active to being so inactive. I am sure I don't have to tell you all that. I told DH it's like hitting the wall when you are on a long run.. I just can't seem to do anything about it.

Duh totally missed the second page.

Jen~good luck tomorrow!! 2 days for a c/s isn't very long. I will stay 2 nights as well. I'd stay 3 if I had someone here to help w/ the kids. I swear I think I'd stay a week..lol Can't wait to hear your update and see pics!

Kate~hope the mucus plug is a good sign. I lost mine last time 3 weeks early and never did start labor, but I think I jus tdon't do labor..lol I can't believe how many of us are all having babies this month. It'll be so fun to all go through the post partum working out and getting back in shape together!

Melanie~that sounds awful.. I am a big wuss when it comes to drs. so the draining part sounds painful. I hope he heals up okay. Good luck w/ giving the shots. Maybe you can tell me if you think the flu shots are worth it? We've never had the flu and for the last 3 years I have gotten the kids the flu shots, but I just wonder if we really need them? I am thinking for the baby it might be a good idea for us to get them so she doesn't get it the flu, but then we are in the south so how bad does the flu really get here?? Any advice or insight into that?
