Maintain level of fitness??

Hi Cathe,

I started working out with you (StepMax) about a year ago to get in shape for my wedding. I work out 3x a week.
My question for you is, once I reach the weight and level of fitness I'm happy with, how many times a week should I work out to maintain that??

I just ordered a dvd set and I'm pumped! I know you hear it all the time, but thank you and you truly are an inspiration and a joy to work out with!!!

Hi Theresa! This can vary a bit per individual but generally three non-consecutive times per week at 45 minutes a workout with cardio(two of the three cardio should be high intensity).

One to two times per week of a total body weight workout say Power Hour or MIS or you can create your own workout (it can be a 30 minute total body weight workout if you are doing two times per week).

Try to change around your workout program every three weeks with different activities so your muscles don't go stale. Good Luck!
