I think that is absolutely brilliant, I really do.

If I do this to my poor unsuspecting son post-surgery and then, say, snap a few pictures, do ya think I'd be set for life with Mom Blackmail Material??? ;-)

Take your meds as prescribed and hope you heal quickly.

I had similar surgery-mine was due to a mountain biking accident. Somehow I ripped the lower gums where the lower lip attaches to the gums for 6 inches around the inside of my mouth. I don't even remember leaving the hospital. I made it through with lots of water, pudding, jello, protein shakes and soups.
