M.I.S. vs L&G

Ok, I think I am going to take my first Cathe plunge. Since I want to buff up my legs more should I get MIS or L&G?

Hi JulieMom,

They are two completely different workouts.

MIS is a strength workout for total body while L&G is purely for legs and glutes. If you want to build and develop your muscles, I say get MIS. You can slowly build your muscles by choosing heavier weights, plus you have an upper body workout as well.

It's a classic Cathe workout and you will not be disappointed.

Hi

If your focus really is just the lower body, then go with L&G. However, MIS is an awesome total body workout. The lower body section is about 20 minutes of pretty brutal (if you go as heavy as you can) exercises, and then a section for each upper body part follows.

Also, if you are going VHS vs DVD, that will make a difference too. The MIS DVD has a couple excellent strength workout options for you. The L&G DVD has cardio included too(KPC).

Best of luck! Either way you should get a good workout.

That's a great question. I got pretty good results just from doing MIS and Power Hour last summer. They were the only Cathe Strength tapes that I had at the time. You can do just the lower body one day and the upper the next, or do the whole thing and get an entire body workout. Plus if you get the dvd, which I would highly recommend, you get three of Cathes videos on the one dvd, and a lot more workouts to choose from that you can make up on your own.
Then again, if you get the Legs and Glutes dvd, you will get Kick PUnch and Crunch. There are more premixes on this dvd than the other, but you will only get the punching drills for an upper body workout. Plus Cathe uses lighter weights on the Legs and Glutes workout than in MIS. But there are more exercises to work the lower body than in MIS.
Ok, now that I've outlined both, for yours and my own sakes. I think that I would personally get the MIS dvd. More bang for your buck. You'll have three different lower body workouts to choose from, three upper body workouts to choose from and a killer step routine. And a great circuit workout. Then, later on you can add Legs and Glutes to your collection.
Fwew, that was tough for me, but I think that is my final answer!
Good luck, and welcome to Cathe.

True PLB is great. Not sure what your goals are but for getting tighter thighs and butt... L&G with KPC PLB it's a combination that is amazing
