Lunges on an Incline Step

I'm an exFIRMer, and as you may or may not know, they've added a "new" exercise - performing lunges on an incline step. In your expert opinion, are these safe? If so, are they effective? I'm really working hard to shape up and tighten my rump and lower body, and if these are a good move, then I want to do them! Can you make any recommendations on how to substitute them into your workouts?? Can they sub any other ordinary and/or stationary lunges? Thanks for your advice!

By the way, I did my first Cathe workout this monring, and I loved it!!! I look forward to many more!!! I want a butt like yours!!!

And Jai (from the crew) is my idol!!! My boyfriend saw her and thought it was me from the neck up. Now if I can look like her from the neck down!!! ;)

Yes, Cathe, if you can suggest how to do any kind of exercise (or do another video featuring the use of a step on an incline), that would be great. Most of us already have a step with risers that we can position it to be on an incline, and prefer to not have to buy another gadget in order to receive any new videos.
