lower body

Hello everybody: anybody have the 3 workouts for the lower body? : leaner legs, PLB, legs & glutes. Any diferences, wich one is harder, Thank you.

They're each unique so I really can't say which one is more difficult. Leaner Legs is very intense, IMHO, and I find it the most challenging of the three to get through. PLB is one I use when I want to increase strength gains, because you can go very heavy on that set of 8 reps to challenge the muscles. I use Legs & Glutes a lot because I find it the most "fun" of the three, but again that's only my opinion. They're each very effective in their own way.

I think Carol gave you a very good analysis on these workouts. They are all hard in their own unique way. It really depends on what your personal goals are.

If I had to pick, I would say Leaner Legs (dubbed "Meaner Legs" by several people on this site).

If I had to choose the 3 best, they'd be PS Legs, Leaner Legs and PLB. Legs and Glutes is very good, but PS Legs is more effective.

It depends on what you like. LL has too much reps for me. It's a really tough workout and Cathe is amazing but I can't do that kind of stuff regularly. I love PLB because it is straightforward and has no pulsing or hovers or tempo changes. I have the option of 3 or 5 sets and the floorwork is really good. L&G is new and reminds me of the FIRM because it moves around and time passes by without you noticing it. There's a lot going on without being tedious. It is so different from the other workouts that it's refreshing.

That is so true about L&G, time just flies by. There is so much variety and I love the music.

PLB is, for me, the hardest among the three because of the increasing weights and high reps. LL is the second hardest because of the moderate weight and high reps. L&G is a class all its own. It's "easier" in the sense that you get to use lighter weight, but it still kicks your butt because of the numerous exercises and the fast pace of the workout. I think L&G is more of an endurance test than LL. PLB helped me gain strength, which I needed, and mass, which I didn't need. Nowadays I use a combination of different exercises from different leg workouts. I lost some mass, which was good, and some strength, which was a bummer, but I have nicely toned legs, which I'm satisfied with. As has already been said, what you get depends on what kind of result you're after.
