Cathlete
This morning was CTX upper body split shoulders, triceps and biceps plus L&G (2) sets of one legged deadlifts, (1) set of hamstring tucks and 200 x( non weighted walking lunges. :+

Getting lots busier at work because of new missile program we acquired so I may not be as regular at posting....gonna try.

You guys have a great day and great workouts:D

Hi Ladies,

Last night was a 6.2 mile run and C&W upper body only. I was kind of tired. Tonight is a 3 mile run and LL.

Candi, just wondering about your missile program. I work for the government, in ICBM for 4 years. I work in Space and C3I now, since my promotion. :)

Keep up the walking lunges everyone!! I have not started doing those yet... Thinking about it though... ;)

Have a great day!!

Good morning all,

Confession - I slept in this morning. That is the first time I have slept for 8 hours straight in a long, long time. Felt great.

I did bring my workout stuff to work, so it's on to the treadmill for me at lunchtime. I think I'll do a 20 minute HIIT workout like they prescribe in BFL.

With the exception of that bowl of ice cream last night :9 , the eating has been pretty clean.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Beverly,

I work for Lockheed Martin Electronic & Missiles in Orlando. We have recently acquired the Joint Common Missile program which will eventually take the place of both Longbow and Hellfire missile. I am currently Finance administrator for the Production Operations team that actually builds Longbow and Hellfire. They are built at our Troy, Alabama facility and managed through Orlando. ICBM, that's intercontinential ballistic missile, right? I think we bid on that years ago but didn't win. Who is building those?

What are your job dutes?

Boy am I ticked off x( I went to the office gym at lunchtime to use the treadmill and when I got there, there was a guy using it (we only have one treadmill, one stepper, one elliptical, two bikes, and 4 rowing machines in the cardio section). So I jumped on the elliptical, which I hate because I never feel like I'm in control of my own workout, and 10 minutes go by, 15 minutes, 20 minutes and the jerk is still on the treadmill. Finally, after 30 minutes he gets off and I thought to myself, well at least I can get in in a quick 5 before I have to shower and get back to my desk. So I go over and he hasn't even bothered to wipe it down and there is sweat everywhere. I was so grossed out. Some people are pigs.

Sorry for the rant, but his insensitivity make me mad. So I ended up doing about 20-25 minutes of interval work on the elliptical (we were the only 2 people in the gym). Even though my legs are tired and I really broke a sweat, I don't feel like I fufilled any part of the Freestyle rotation. Now I'll have to go home and figure out something to make up for it. Arrrrrrghh.}(

Man, did I pick the wrong week to give up coffee! ;)

Shopgirl, even if you didn't get to get on the treadmill you still got in your cardio with the ellipical.... it may not feel like it but you did........... Rhonda:7

Hi ladies,

BB Plyometrics, is the BOMB. First, I did Legs & Glutes, my intention was to do only the standing work. But, I just love L&G so much, I just couldn’t stop. I ended up doing the whole workout. Then I popped in Plyometrics just to get the feel of the workout and man oh man. If you don’t have it or thought about getting it, its’ well worth it.

I just wish that we could buy the tapes or DVD’s separately. Plyometrics is the one! The move are so different, challenging and fun. By the time I finished the workout I was sweating like a pig. This is definitely a workout that I’ll be using twice a week. Next time I’m going to do Plyometrics first then legs.

This morning I hopped on the treadmill for an hour jog, legs felted a little tired but I was determine to finish what I started ;o)

Shoulders & Arms & Ab ripper was on my rotation for tonight, but I don’t think I’ll be able to do. My sis called me this morning *HAPPY* saying that she got her tax refund check and guess what……….we’re going shopping Yeah! First time I’ve been in a mall to shop in a long long time. So tomorrow I'll be doing S&A and abs.

My fat pants are falling off me and it feels great, I’m going to reward myself and buy me something. I’m a Victoria Secret FREAK or for that matter I love any two piece matching sets, so off I go to buy me a few Bra's and of course the matching panties. Have a good evening all.

Candi,

Yes, you have the ICBM acronym correct. I was an Inventory Manager for the guidance and propulsion sections of the Minuteman and Peacekeeper missles. It was a fun job. Our main contractor was Northrup Grumman (use to be TRW). The sub contrators were Honeywell, Boeing and I think Lockhead Martin even did some kind of repair.

Now I am a supervisor over the requirement control officers. So far I love it. But it is only week 2.. :) I work in the financial branch of Space and Communications systems.

Have a great day and thanks for telling me about your job. Sounds interesting.

Beverly,

Sometimes it's very interesting, but sometimes it's downright boring. Coming in on the beginning of a program like JCM will be fun I think. We do have EVMS requirements on this one though cause it's cost plus, so therein lies the challenge. Lots of detail and detail is a challenge for me. But, I like challenges and the team seems great, so, I'm keeping optimistic. The other problem is I have to continue supporting Hellfire/Longbow too. No overtime...PLEASEx(

Your job sounds interesting. I've never supervised anyone and have always thought that would be an interesting challenge.

Teddygirl -

Enjoy your new underwear.... Well, you know what I mean. Have fun shopping and picking out new stuff:+

Hi Everyone,

Way to go Teddygirl-what an inspiration you to keep the rest of us on track. I too love matching underthings from VS-its the only place I buy lingerie from. Monday I did day one of the freestyle weight loss routine. On Tuesday, my shoulders were definitely feeling it-bicep curl to overhead press must be doing good things for me.

Candi-I saw the post from Cathe regarding doing 400 walking lunges-aahhh. I'm sticking to 100, maybe go to 125 tomorrow.

Tuesday was an unscheduled day off. They called an all hands meeting at work and we were notified of 4 layoffs in my department. After hearing that I just wasn't up to working out. This morning was a timesaver workout since I slept in too long.

Keep up the good work everyone.

Diana
