LOVE STS..paranoid about doing non-STS Rotations

Hi all -
Ever since I started doing the STS rotations (early 2010) I have been in love with them! I have seen some excellent results - muscle like I never had before. I've discovered that it is VERY hard for me to do any other weight workouts (aside from some of the leg workouts) because I feel like STS works best for me and truly gives me a challenge. I am nervous about trying a non-STS rotation for fear of losing some of the muscle tone I've gained in the program. Am I nuts? I'm thinking my body probably needs a break from it...but there's that darn paranoia!

thanks for input

Hi Veghead. I know exactly how you feel. I will be finishing up my 4th round of STS this week. I did two 3 month rotations and two 6 month rotations. I tried to do the LIS /STS rotation and got 2 injuries so I went back to just STS. I have all of Cathe's weight lifting dvd's but I can't stop doing STS. I will be starting Body Beast next week. I think it will be compareable to STS. I am very pleased with my STS results and I don't want to lose that either. I don't think you are nuts but give yourself a month on another rotation and see how you feel.

You are not nuts. I am in the exact same situation. I have done STS since it arrived; 3 month rotation, undulating rotation. For the past year, I have done the undulating rotation with the other DVDs on week 4; like gym style, pyramid upper/lower, high reps, etc. a friend loaned me P90x. I already think I'm gonna hate it. The guy bugs me. I am terrified to deviate, but feel the same way. Maybe my body needs a break from STS. And i only have a small window to use the dvds before she'll want them back, so here it goes. Let's keep each other posted!!!

I am in the exact same boat! My gains with STS have been the best ever for me. I love the program and am afraid to lose what I have achieved. That said, I do need a break from it so I can go back and start it fresh again. STS is the best program I have ever used, it has been very effective for me.
