LOST fans - a theory (to end all theories???)

I posted this in last week's discussion, but it kind of got lost in the shuffle. I thought this deserved its own post. It's a rather lengthy explanation, but WOW. It's really intriguing. There seem to be a few things that don't quite add up, but I think it could really be on the right track. Being a science nerd who has studied dark matter and theoretical astrophysics (for FUN), I'm especially fond of this theory.
