Hi,
You guys have blown me away with your kindness!
If you look at my other post, (I got someone arrested...) I have info for my vet's office with the account number and contact information for the account (in case someone would want to call and confirm the validity of the case). If you want to help out, you can send a donation directly to the vet's office (which I felt would also make people feel a bit more comfortable too - that the money was going to where they are expecting it to go.)

Lori, your story just touched my heart so much. There are so many people out there that give so much time, energy and funds to help animals and children and other important causes and I just feel like the least I can do to say thanks is send some money to you. Whether you use it to pay for STS or for animals is your choice. I will certainly be contacting your vet to see what I can do.
Thanks for sharing your (heartwrenching) but inspiring and touching story. And thanks to all you others (Lorie aka lederr--you too! I can't think of anyone else specifically right now--I'm sorry!) for all you do. I've only been able to rescue two animals and I wish I could do more.

Allison, I had never looked at your pics before. Love your two cats - I my black cat that just passed away not long ago at 19 1/2. I was engaged to a guy when I was younger and found a white cat that he took in. So, mine was named Midnight and we named the white one Noon Anyway, yours are beauties - I assume they are the two animals you mentioned having rescued? They certainly seem to be living the life, and loving each other too! Shana

Oh, Shana, thank you! Ya, I'm a total crazy cat lady. These guys are my life. They've seen me through a lot. I love the theme of "Midnight" and "Noon". How cute!
