Hey guys. I've been concentrating on loosening my grip (in a safe way) on my bar and dumbells over the past couple of weeks. I have always been very aware of my grip, and have been sure not to squeeze at all, but my grip has been firm. I have really loosened my grip lately, and have had to lighten my weights on certain exercises becuase of this looser grip. I am really feeling it in my chest and shoulders--it makes such a difference. When I do those front raises with the plate in PH, it is amazing how much more I feel it in my shoulders. The rest of my arm isn't working, JUST my shoulders... Same with barbell chest presses. I'm finally feeling my chest muscles push the bar up, instead of my shoulders, arms and chest combined...
