Looking to find a Cathe workout BUDDY!!!...

Yes, Alana, you are very strange indeed to want to have a workout buddy! 
Just kidding! I wish I lived close to you! It could be fun hanging out with a fellow Cathlete for the occasional IMAX torture! Nice to also have someone to spend an hour talking about Cathe DVDs and just working out and diet, etc.
I put my old Step Reebok on Craig's List here and got a response. I had to fight the instinct to start ranting and raving about working out at home and Cathe and have you tried this or that and yadda, yadda, yadda. I had to remind myself I had never met this woman before and won't meet her until tomorrow!
Am I crazy? Too obsessed? Pathetic maybe? Perhaps I just need a life . . .

You are not strange for asking!! I have converted a few people at my old job to doing a few cathe workouts at lunch. They do them at work but one lady had to come over to learn the moves one saturday morning and we had so much fun that a few weeks later there were 4 of us doing Hiit in my exercise room on Sat morning.
I would love an accountable workout buddy that is there each morning!
I live in northern MN so I guess I am not a candidate to be your workout buddy.

Have you thought about joining one of the check-ins? Or starting a new one? I know it's not the same as having someone in person, but for some of us it's very motivating. Well, said sheepishly, not me right now, but in general it's good. I did a rotation with one of my check-in buddies one month and it really kept me on track and accountable. Just a suggestion, fwiw.

Alana, I'm not in Reno (although I like the idea of a workout buddy a lot) but I just had to add to syzygy's post -- maybe we are all crazy!!! Last night I dreamed I met Michelle Obama, and of all the things I could have said, what did I ask her? "Do you do Cathe Friedrich's workouts? Your arms look so great that I thought you must!" She enthusiastically answered yes and then we talked about Butts and Guts! I'm not sure whether to be embarrassed or just amused by this dream!

Bobbi - LOL! I think all of us here are like that! We have got to be the most fitness/health obsessed group of people in the world! I suppose it could be worse - a lot worse!

I live too far! I am down here closer to Folsom, CA. I've been to Reno though. Also, I'd be kind of embarrassed about my ability to sweat, I like to refer to myself as the Human Sprinkler!
