I'm starting to see and feel results more and more. I've been working out with Cathe faithfully for about 4 months, but the first couple I was just trying to get up to speed. Now, I'm in my 4th month and I'm starting to see results.
My husband tells me that my skin is tighter (he gives me back rubs periodically, and he says my arms and back are starting to feel firmer and tighter). I have actually felt how firm my abs are getting, especially my obliques, since I got my CTX DVD's last month and started doing the All Abs sections 3-4 times per week. And, I've seen a couple of pounds come off on my scale in the past couple of weeks.
Tonight I did Rhythmic Step for the first time in a couple of weeks (mine's taped off of FitTV, so I don't get the whole workout - it's my next Cathe purchase), and by the time I got to the end, I had more energy than when I'd started. I could've kept going for another 20-30 minutes! I told my husband, "Remember when I first started doing this workout last October? I couldn't even get through that middle combination without stopping to catch my breath. Now look at me! I can make it all the way through without a break!" I was so proud of myself!
It's such wonderful encouragement and motivation for me to see that my cardio level has improved so much in just a few months.
I figure if I just keep plugging away slowly but surely, in another 6 months, I'll really be seeing the changes, and in 2 years, I'm hoping to have some lean & mean muscles popping out all over!
I've got a long way to go, and I know that it's going to have to be a longterm commitment to get to my goals. I didn't get into this shape overnight, so I can't expect to get out of overnight, either.
For those who are curious, my weekly rotation usually includes working out 6 days a week (if I'm feeling strong, I'll even work out on day 7). The length of my cardio workouts depends on how I feel, but I currently do 2 or 3 30-minute cardio workouts (such as Step & Intervals or All Step from CTX), 2 or 3 45-60 minute cardio workouts, upper body 2x (GS from Hard Core), and lower body 1x (PLB). This rotation is focused on cardio, but my next rotation focuses on strength.
Sorry for the long windedness. I think I just wanted to get all this down for me more than anything...put everything in perspective, and give me more motivation to keep on keepin' on, as they say! :7
Have a wonderful evening everyone! And may the Cathe force be with you!
