Limecat's Hump Day Question of the Day

You're walking down the beach and you pick up a bottle. You open it up and out pops a white, surly looking cat with a lime on its head. As thanks for releasing him from the bottle, Limecat will grant you three wishes.

What would they be?

There are a couple of rules - you can't bring anyone back from the dead, you can't wish for more wishes and Limecat can't turn back the clock.

1. 300 billion dollars, so i could share and never have to work again.I could take care of alot of family and friends...
2. To never grow old and crippled. I guess good health.
3. Happiness
I was going to ask for a great body and never have to work out for it, but with 300 billion bucks, what else would i spend my time on besides working out , travel?

I'm going to pretend I still have 3 wishes. I'm also going to be totally self absorbed with my wishes.

1. Good health for all who I care about until their time is up, then *poof* a painless and graceful death.

2. Enough income to not have to ever give a thought to any kind of purchase, big or small.

3. The time to enjoy all my health and money spending it with loved ones, traveling, learning new things, meeting new people.

I guess they all just boil down to one BIG wish. I want to do what I want to do when I want to do it, with whomever I want to do it with, wherever I want to do it at.

(I guess if I had a 4th wish, it would be to not be so selfish and self centered)

When I was younger, all I wanted was to be as smart as my brothers, as good-looking as my brothers and as well-liked and respected as my brothers. That's all I ever thought about.

Nowadays, I like to think I'm past that. $300 billion dollars I think is too much of a responsbility. You would have to establish a foundation and constantly be researching the "best" causes to donate money to. It would be a full-time job.

I love Robin's deeply thoughtful and moving answer, so I'm going to just agree with that. Thanks Robin!

2- financial independence, where I don't have to worry if I want to buy something and my husband doesn't have to work so hard for us!

#1 Wish: My children would grow up independent, happy, healthy, kind, respectful and wise. It is truly amazing how you raise them and what the world influences upon them I pray I am doing a good enough job they will not ever deal with peer pressure I was strong enough I hope they will be too.

#2 Wish: More Cathe Workouts soon, soon, soon!

#3 Wish: Win the Lottery so my hubby can stop working like a dog, Take care of my Church, my family and friends, pay for teachers to come here and teach a handful of children the same age as my kiddos, not have to worry about college for the kids in 11 or so years, monthly bills, health insurance payments every month! OOhh well I could go on you get the point.

Well, I don't think this is following the rules but I wish I hadn't fallen down the stairs & injured myself this morning.x( But that would require turing back the clock so maybe I should just wish that I wasn't such a big klutz! Ah well. Talk about being self-absorbed.

So I guess I'll try again:

1. I wish I could meet in person all the new friends I've met online here!

2. I wish for continued good health, happiness, & longevity for all my loved ones (friends, family, animals, etc.)

3. I wish for enough wealth to live comfortably, enjoy life to its fullest, & help others.

Maybe #1 will come true if there is another road trip soon!

Everyone made some truly wonderful wishes so I hope they all come true!!! That would be my 4th wish...;-)
