Lifting Heavy Question

When I am doing bicep curls on the preacher bench with the heaviest that I can manage, my legs will start to shake badly and I have to stop lifting because I am afraid that not being steady I will drop the weights. Does this happen to anyone else? Just curious. If it does happen to you, what do you do? Keep going or what?

I don't have a preacher bench and just follow Cathe's workouts. But I'm thinking this sounds like a "fatigue" sort of situation. In other words, don't push it past what you can do safely, and work up carefully - but don't stop - your arms are looking great! I'd say you're doing exactly the right thing. Just a guess, but it seems like maybe since your arms are braced against the bench and can't move as much, your legs end up being responsible for telling you to back off a bit!
