Do you put your fingertips only on the ground or lay your hands flat and try and lift up? I cannot figure that out?? It looks like you use your fingtertips only and Jai's hands are flat?

I have tried both and neither are comfy, although I doubt either one will be.......}(
 
Not Cathe, but I think it is what works for you. You kind of have to "play" with your hand position. For me, I use my fingertips and my hands are slightly in front of my waistline. You really have to hold your core tight and focus. It is definitely not easy, but keep on practicing and it will come in time. Play with your hand position ... a bit forward or back to try and find the best balance for you.:)

I put my yoga blocks next to me and place my hands on them to do the move. You can get the same results without killing your fingertips and/or wrists.
 
Hi Reba! There is no exact way to place your hands. You kind of have to play with it a bit to find a way that prepares you for the best launch. The good news is just attempting the exercise will turn your core on. Good luck!
