I just stumbled upon one of your posts where you where you said you were pregnant with No. 2. Just wanted to send you my congratulations!

I also have a quick question for you. I know that you have commented on how much stronger and leaner you are since losing all your baby #1 weight. I was just wondering how you would compare your current fitness to your fitness at this point in your pregnancy to Baby #1.

Again, congratulations!

Hi Angela...

Thanks for your post. Funny, my name is Angela too! How sweet of you to send your congratulations! Are you pregnant too? Or just interested for the heck of it?

I started my last pregnancy about 10 pounds heavier than I started this one and really just let myself go during the duration of my pregnancy. I only worked out sporadically and ate everything that wasn't nailed down. Thus, gaining over 50 pounds in the process (and I'm only 5'0".)

I've detailed my "comeback" in other posts, which I am happy to find if you'd like. Basically I hit my Cathe workouts hard six days a week and kept the eating under control. I also think playing, lifting and running after my active one-year-old son has a lot to do with staying in shape.

I'm only in my 7th week and my belly has already popped out. I think since it's only been a year, my body has some sort of pregnancy memory thing going on. Kind of like a balloon that let the air out but was already stretched out and remembers TOO WELL how to fill up again.

This time I'm very conscious about eating healthy and so far I have managed to stick to my workout routine (though not with the same all out intensity as before.) This time around I'm DETERMINED to keep the weight gain under control and MAINTAIN my fitness level to the very best of my ability.

Thanks for asking!

RE: Hi Angela...

Thanks for the response! To answer YOUR question - I was mainly just interested because I have followed your previous posts about your "comeback". I'm not pregnant, but I hear (although VERY faint) my biological clock ticking. I don't think I'm ready to take the plunge though!
