Good Morning Ladies!

Today I did David Swenson's Yoga Short Forms. My back was bothering me a little. Hard to know if it is good pain or bad and I should back off?!?!
It is supposed to get up to 106 today! I wanted to walk, but we'll see.

Deanie~Thank you for the revised rotation! It looks great. I made a copy and plan to start tomorrow. I may have to switch things up a bit...next week I am going to Houston to visit family and can only do cardio there and then the next week I start work.
WTG with the chins and pulls! You will put your brother to shame!;) Is your Grandma's 90th b-day next weekend?

Marcy~Did you try Tracey's Circuit Zone? She was on the RT again. She is too cute and is a PG mama, but just barely. I had her sign my copy of Strike Zone.

Hi:)

Today was a rest day. We did nothing all day but go to the library and then read our books! I am really looking forward to working out tomorrow. I think my rest week was just what I needed.

Gin~ Great idea to do DS! I wanted to do something this morning, but didn't know what- I should have done DS too! 106!! I hope you were somewhere cool - like in the air conditioning or the pool today! Did you say your other DS and hhis gf were coming this weekend? I hope you are having a nice visit. You start school early, we don't go back till 8/26 (me for in-house days, and the kids start school that day)

Marcy~ Hope you are having a nice weekend. Did you see the rotation I posted yesterday for you?

I am still deciding if I want to do the nutrition thing from cathenation. I may wait till Sept. when I am home more often and try it for a month.

I am up early and ready to go! I am off to do Muscle Max, and a set or two of chinups/pullups. I think I will do them on my weight days (no pyramid though, takes to much time)

Gin~ Are you doing MM with me today? It was lonely doing a rotation by myself!;) When are you going to Houston? I'm going to Jersey this weekend!

Okay, back again:
used same weights as Cathe for MM
chins: 5/5/4
negitive pullups: 5/5/3

MM was hard, not used to no rest between weight lifting! Got a much better workout than I expected for working all body parts in one workout! :D

Good Morning ladies!

Today was also MM for me. I was so glad to read that it was tough for you, Deanie! I was almost as sweaty as I am with cardio!!:p
It has been fun to have ds's gf here for a visit. We stayed up late playing games and watching old home movies. It's fun to have someone else WANT to watch your old family movies!:)

Deanie~I will be going to Houston with ds21 on Tues-Fri. I plan to do CK and run while there. My mother has a new computer (new to her, but used) so MAYBE I can post while there. The kids don't start school until Aug 25, but I have new employee training the week of Aug 11 and room prep, staff mtgs, etc the week of Aug 18.

Yeah Deanie to your new avatar! I wish we could enlarge the photos to see them better. Isn't it amazing how kids can figure out these things so easily!?! Do you use a flat iron to straighten your hair? I can't believe how many 1RMs you have already completed! Can you come over and help me with mine? I don't know where to start!:eek:
 
Gin~ I probably missed you.....
I don't use an iron to straighten my hair, just a large round brush. I don't actually straighten my hair any more, just had the hairdresser do it for fun one time (i think last summer) and my DH loved it!! usually, I just wash it, put conditioner in it and let it do its own thing. Now that I know how to do the avitar, I may look for a picture that shows me more as me. :)

About the 1RM: (your welcome to come over any time ;) )
I took alot of info from my worksheets from PS and put that in for my 1RM, then whatever I didn't know, I did go down to the workout room and try out. I took one day that I did a weight workout in the morning and did the 1RM in the afternoon. There is still a lot I haven't done though...HTH...
