Hi again!

Gin~Whats on the agenda today? Have fun with your DS, I would opt for a hotel too!:) What is he doing this summer in Florida? My house is like this: the top level is the bedrooms (4), then down the 8 stairs to the main entranceway (front door)/main level with a living rm., dining rm, kitchen, laundry rm., 1/2 bath and family room. then you go down 8 stairs to the "play room" with a closet and 1/2 bath and the garage entranceway is thru here. then go down 8 stairs and you're in the basement (my workout room) The stairs are all under each other. The playroom is under the bedrooms and the basement is under the main level with the kitchen. We do have an attic, but we don't use it. I will see if I can send you a picture of the outside of the house, its not as weird as it sounds!;-)

Marcy~ Hope all is going well. How was your workout today? I hope you hear something about a job soon, but its nice you can enjoy the summer.

Have a great day,
Deanie

Good Morning Ladies!

Today I ran and then did DM Timesaver cardio and SM with stability ball. I had 5 hours of sleep last night and it was hard to get up this morning!:p After I "hung" on the chin up bar I tried a chin up without the chair and I think I did ONE!! Applause please!:) Now a pull up would be a different story. I knew they would be tougher.
Yesterday I spent 3 hours cleaning through my old room at school. I had more stuff than I thought. I filled the car and still need to go back to get another car load!!

Deanie--Your house does not sound weird at all, but very nice. How fun to have all of those different levels. Our gargage is underneath the kitchen. We don't use our attic either since we have a basement. DS is in Florida with a group of about 100 other college students. They have regular jobs during the day (retail stores, etc.)and get together at night for Bible study and workshops, etc. He thinks he may want to be a missionary or go to into ministry.

Marcy--How are you? Will you be starting the May08 rotation with me next week? I'll start on Monday.

We leave at dark-thirty tomorrow morning, so probably won't post, but I do plan to workout while in Florida. DS belongs to a gym and said we could use it.

Have a great day!

Good Afternoon Ladies!

Today I did Gym Styles Chest & Triceps. I decided to do Mix-N-Match. I find the chest work in this one a little overkill so I decided not to do the incline work.

Did all 72 pushups without any extra rests!:)
Bench Press: 3 sets of 12 reps @ 20#
Chest Flyes: 2 sets of 12 @ 18#, 3rd set only 6 reps @ 18#
Dips
Dbbl Lying Extensions: 2 sets of 8 reps @ 15#
Seated Overhead Extensions: 2 sets of 12 @ 30#
Cross Body Extensions: 1st set: 12 reps @ 13#; 2nd set: 10 reps @ 13# and band bonus burn (used heavy band)
Chest
BBL Overhead Press: both sets 40# plus I did the 4 slow bonus reps at the end of the 2nd set (something I usually can't do)
Dbbl Kickbacks: Both sets 10 reps @ 13# plus band kickbacks with heavy band

DH is off on a job interview and I sent out 2 resumes this morning.

I'm going dancing at a new place tonight. It's a little farther away but the instructor has int/adv classes. The only thing is she said since the summer is slow for beginners, she decided to combine the beginners with intermediates so it will be a little bit slower than usual. But at least I can check things out and ask her what dances they normally do for int/adv.

I'm down to 123.6 (the lowest I've been since I moved!) Would like to lose about 3-5 more pounds.

Deanie - Your house sounds so big but nice with all the different levels! Mine has family room, breakfast area, kitchen dining room, formal living room and 1/2 bath on first floor and 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths on second floor. We just use the attic for storage. We have no basement.

Gin - Glad you'll be able to workout while you're away. The gym I went to a couple of weeks ago is probably desperate to get me to sign up. They gave me another free week. I don't think I'll go back for at least another week or two. Pullups are definitely harder than chinups. Chinups use the biceps and back whereas pullups are just back. You should be very proud of your DS! I'm off to check out the May '08 rotation again. Most likely I will do it but would like to see if Cathe has anything good for July.

Have a great day!

Marcy
