Good Morning Girls!

I didn't see the thread started...Where are you Deanie? I hope okay!

Today I did PLB and PUB abs and The Method 20/20 Pilates. As usual I had to lower the weights a little to protect my lower back and do some of Brenda's modifications on the the floor work.
I was quite sore all over yesterday from Sunday's PUB I guess.
The chiro has me wearing a heel lift in all of my shoes on the right side. It is so slight, that I can't even tell it's in my shoe. One hip has been higher than the other b/c of the back problem.

Deanie--What does your DH say about TX, besides hot and bad traffic? I will order the Plate Mates and hope they work. Thanks for all of the info. How does ds like the volunteer work?

Marcy--$8.86 is a good price for a good workout dvd! Looking forward to seeing your new pics. I think she does 4 lower body exercises and the rest is upper body in the Jari Love workout. Don't know when I'll fit it in. We leave for Florida on Thursday.

Good Morning

Today was Imax 2 blasts only and c&w abs (since the dvd was already in). I have some DOMs in my biceps today.

A very busy morning! While I was finishing working out, my older DS got in the shower. We finished at the same time. As I came up from the basement, he met me in the playroom (we have 4 levels) and the playroom ceiling was leaking in 3 places!!!! The playroom is under the kids bathroom. I thought we had a leaky pipe or something. Anyway, I started making calls and a plumber came out about 20 min. later. long story short, turns out the pipes are fine, just when we shower the water is seeping thru the floor. (we'll have to get that fixed) Took DS to camp, then came home and ate. A very hecktic morning.

Gin~ I'm glad you are getting the plate mates. I am sure you'll be happy.:) Is the heel lift helping? DS likes the volenteer work (its just playing with the kids- what could be bad?) DH hasn't really had much time in TX yet. He got in at 6pm our time last night, had dinner and went to Target (his luggage was missing and he picked up a few things just in case) This a.m. he called and said they found his luggage and he was off to the corportate office. Hopefully he'll get to get out and site see. How long are you going to be in Florida?
Will you be staying with your DS? Is this the newlywed?

Marcy~ Hope you had a good workout today. Any interviews lined up? What are you doing with all your free time?

Hi Ladies!

Today I did Deanie's favorite, Cardio Kicks. I did great for the first 30 minutes (no modifications). Then came the speed bag arms and kicks and my breathing started to go a little bit so I modified and rested a bit. Came back 6 mins. later fine and finished. I really like the block section in this one. I also did KPC abs - pretty easy - all pikes no problem. Haven't done them in awhile.

Gin - Did you feel the chinup bar helped you with your back?

Deanie - No interviews lined up yet. My schedule is pretty much working out in the morning. Around 10am, we run around to do errands. Come back and then go on the computer to job hunt and answer e-mails; then cook dinner and watch some TV. I've been answering a lot of ads from Craigs List but a lot of them seemed to be bogus. The one from yesterday came from an agency who supposedly had been forwarded my resume from one of their "clients". It turned out they were only trying to get me to buy resumes from them. Then I got a scam alert about them.

Off to jobhunt!

Explain the 4 levels in your house. Interesting! I guess we have 4 if you count the attic, but I wouldn't want to live up there!!;-)
Sorry about your water problem. Was anything damaged?
My married ds lives here. We will be visiting our ds21 who is there just for the summer. He lives in a condo with other guys. We'll stay in a hotel.

Marcy--Yeah to completing CK and KPC abs.
My chiro wants me to hang from the chin up bar 3 x a day for 30 sec and work up to 2 min. I think this will be a long process in straightening out my back (if that can be done) and helping with the pain.
With all the experience you have, that right job is out there and waiting for you. I'm sure it will come along!
