Good Morning Gals

Today is HIIT on the treadmill. Not sure what level I will do. I had a really hard time today motivating myself to even get out of bed!!:eek: Then I have SJP abs to top my run off with.

Marcy~ I hope you get good new about the job last week. Is the University job a sure thing? If yes, congrats!!! What's the workout for today?

Gin~ How was your workout today? Are you all packed for the road trip?

I can't figure out the avitar thing. If you guys do will you let me know? I am really enjoying the new website, the workout manager and the calendar are fun. I think I spent like an hour just on that stuff (1rm and calendar) yesterday. Off to the pool again today!

I had planned to do 4ds HIS/LIS this morning, but ds is still asleep in my "gym"/guest room!:( But, I will get it done later. I think I will skip PS lower body tomorrow. The RT schedule was posted yesterday and Sat. includes a lower body blast class.
I kept wondering why our thread was on the last page and then I realized that it is in alpha order!
I want my old name back and don't know if/when it will happen.

Deanie--Were you at the pool all day yesterday? Maybe you should take a rest week next week. like I am. Hope you were able to get through HIIT. I'm sure you were. Are you going to put your pic for your avatar?

Marcy--Have you been able to log on? What is your workout today?

Hi Ladies!

Today's workout was Rock Your Body with Jamie King. It was a hip hop workout and hip hop is HARD! He does Rehearsal 1, Rehearsal 2, Dress Rehearsal puts 1 and 2 together and then the "Performance". Tabitha (the choreographer from So You Think You Can Dance) is in it. It had a "strength training" section but it was actually just dance moves with things like bicep curls, kickbacks, 1-arm rows, knees to chest, lunges, etc. It was fun but my breathing was really bad this morning. It was really good yesterday. I don't know what the problem is. We put a new air filter in the house and I have an Ionic Breeze.

Backsplash came out great and the wall plates matched perfectly. DH will finish painting probably next week. We're getting a new lawn put in in a couple of weeks and then no more work around the house until we get jobs.

I like the fact that we can see all the previous posts in the thread. Makes things much easier.

DH is off to a job interview now.

Deanie - Enjoy the pool todayand hope you have a great workout! The university job isn't a sure thing. She just called to see if I wanted her to send out my resume.

Gin - What's the rest of the schedule for the RT?

Hi again!:)

I did level 11 on the treadmill and it was just perfect for me today. I did plan on going to the pool about 2pm today, but now it looks like rain:D!!

Gin~ Sorry about your old name, but a new name with a new forum could be fun! I hope you get to do your workout today, its a fun cardio! Yes, I am thinking of taking a week/a few days off before starting the new rotation. This week I am only working out 5 days, cutting out a day of cardio. tomorrow we are leaving at 7am to watch DS at camp play a tournament, and championship game. So I won't workout.

Marcy~ your workout today sounds fun! I'm glad your house work has come out nice! Good luck to DH on his interview.

I do want to put my picture up (I think), but its not working for me. Oh well...

Marcy~ I think I've been working out with Cathe since 2004. I wrote 2005 in my profile, but I think that's wrong.

Also, have you guys tried the calendar/1rm yet?
 
Deanie - I've tried 2 exercises to do the 1RM and everytime I enter it, I get an error. I selected the exercise, put in the weight, put in my rep count and then clicked Calculate and I keep getting an error message. Am I doing something wrong?

I did 14 reps @ 18# for Overhead Press. I guess I'll have to try heavier. I saw later that it should only be for 6-10 reps.

I also did 8 reps @ 18# for double arm kickbacks.
