Lets Go --->Sept.8-13

Good Morning Ladies!

Happy Friday! Got through my first week at work. Moved to my new desk today. I have a staff meeting at 12 - I hope lunch is healthy. Today is a rest day for me so far. I had to take an allergy pill last night and needed that extra hour of sleep this morning.

Deanie - I haven't gone dancing on Thurs. night in a couple of weeks. With all my interviews and my job starting last week, I wanted to make sure I was getting enough sleep. Fridays were always hard for me in NY trying to get up to work out after dancing all night Thursday. Also, the teacher changed for a while. She's very nice but she just goes too slow for me. I've mainly been focusing on my ballroom and latin classes which I really love and I go to them twice a week. DH will start feeling too lonely if I go more than that. I'm going to start going Sundays instead of Sat. nights since they're starting up
a Beyond the Basics class again so that will go faster and I'll learn more. I wouldn't want to do pushups at the end of my workout either. I think that might be worse than doing PUB abs at the end of the workout. How many more weeks of the pushup challenge?

Sorry you have to deal with the screamer every week. At least it's only once a week. Enjoy your lunch!

Gin - How was your dinner? What was your workout today? I'm not sure what station Classical Stretch is on but I have satellite and I didn't get it. It's not on Fit TV; maybe Exercise TV? I think VF said she just came out with a new set which is more than the last set. The 2007 season was $50.

Good Morning

Today is 4DS/PP legs and maybe some chins/pulls...we'll see;) I got a good nights sleep, but I would have liked to sleep later. We have soccer at 9am, so I need to get moving:eek:

Marcy~ glad you had a nice first week. 3 more weeks for me for the pushup challenge:mad:

Gin~ Have a nice rest day today! I hope you had a nice dinner. Missed you yesterday.

Okay, off to do legs, and raise some weights (insert workout smilie)

Good Morning Girls!

Sorry that I missed you all yesterday. I had to be at school at 7:15 and then we went out to dinner with a client of DH's and his wife. I was gone all day.:( I went out 4 nights last week and I am so ready to stay home! But, we have plans to go to brunch and then football game with some friends in about an hour.
Yesterday I did the Classical Stretch dvd for the first time and liked it. It is more intense stretching than I am used to and I would recommend it. Pennie (who told me about it) said that she does it 3 times a week and is much more flexible now and free of pain. Also she said that after you have done it several times, you can memorize the sequence of stretches and do it on your own with your own music.
We have not felt the impact of Hurricane Ike here, yet. Supposed to get heavy rain this aft. But I talked to my family in Houston and they are without power. My dad boarded up all of the windows and has a generator, so they should be okay.

Deanie~You sound as sleep deprived as I am! I plan to do the PP and 4ds leg workout also later today.
Are the pushups a challenge for you at all or are you just tired of them?:eek:
How was the soccer game today?
How was lunch yesterday and meeting your DH's friend?

Marcy~ "Dancing Queen":D I think DWTS starts next week, right?
How are your allergies today? Are certain times of the year worse than others?
I don't think I have exercise tv.

Back from the game, DS's team won:D

About my workout today, ended up upping all the weights from last week and knocked out 3 sets of 4 chins and 4 neg. pullups. (one set at the begining of the workout, one before calf work and one at the end of the workout) i realized last week it was TTOM for me and that may have effected my chin/pull ups:eek:

Gin~ glad you are not hit by the hurricane, glad your parents are okay. No power is not fun, but better than no home!! Have a great day today sounds like you have a fun day planned. The pushups are not a challenge so far, but I think next week they may start being one. I haven't really rested inbetween sets the way they say to, and I may start next week.

Hi Girls!

Just finished PP and 4ds legs and then tacked on IMAX2 6-10. Whew! Good thing I only did 1/2 of IMAX2, because I was worn out!:confused:
Only the guys ended up going to the football game today because it was raining too hard. I am not going to sit in the pouring rain at a football game!

Deanie~I canot believe you go straight through the pushups without a rest!! I shouldn't be surprised with you though!!:D
